When browsing with Firefox, scrolling with the up/down arrow keys intermittently causes the keyboard to be disabled. Trackpad and touchscreen still function, but keyboard becomes completely disabled, requiring a reboot.

I've had this problem for over a year and through several versions. It also happens when running in safe mode, so that should eliminate any plugins.

This ONLY happens while browsing with Firefox browser. I cannot deliberately reproduce this, but it happens frequently - up to several times a day. It seems to be tied to scrolling with the down and up keys. This only happens in Firefox, not in any other apps or browsers.

Can anyone help me isolate the problem and find a fix? I am a retired programmer, so I should be able to get to the bottom of this with some help. I suspect that my env may be so unique that nobody can

I recently noticed a scenario where a web tool loads updated data (via JavaScript and backend API), but the browser (and proxy cache) still serves outdated content when viewed on a different device. Clearing the browser cache fixes it, but that’s not a scalable solution for users.

I’m curious: does Firefox’s caching behavior differ for pages that use heavy client-side updates (e.g., incremental score calculators) compared to standard static pages? Should we be explicitly sending cache-control headers like no-store or must-revalidate to prevent stale data?

Any documented guidance on how Firefox handles cache revalidation for dynamic web-apps would be helpful.

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Hello Mozilla Support Team,

I am writing to report a problem with the Mozilla Firefox browser. After the latest update, the browser appears to no longer decompress content that is compressed using the zstd (Zstandard) algorithm.

Previously, I could view web pages or resources compressed with zstd without issue, but now they fail to display correctly (or give errors). I have tested this on multiple websites and different systems, which suggests the change is not specific to one site or machine.

Could you please clarify the following:

Has support for zstd‐compressed content been removed or disabled in the recent Firefox version?

If so, are there plans to restore this support in a future release?

Is there a workaround or configuration setting that allows enabling zstd decompression in the meantime?

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your help in ensuring this functionality is restored or clarified.

Best regards, Oleh Boiko Windiws 10, FF 144.0.2

Over about the last week I have had three Windows updates. After the second of these updates I discovered that moving from one website to another or moving from one page on a website to another page would result in nothing more than a continuing horizontal moving blue ball going back and forth in the address area. After some testing this appears to continue without any further Firefox response or internet activity. After checking online there was a suggestion about clearing the cache so I tried that several time clearing everything in the Privacy area of TOOLS. This had zero effect, at least after the windows updates. (NOTE: The most recent third update did not clear the problem.)

I thought you might want to check this for yourselves.

Hello together, A colleague has been experiencing a display problem in a web application when opening it in the Firefox browser. The error affects a selection window that opens within an editing window of the application. Normally, all selection options are displayed completely and clearly in this window. Currently, however, this selection window is not displayed correctly: The individual options are only partially visible, and the user has to navigate awkwardly within the window using a scroll bar to select a function. The following measures have already been taken without success: Reinstallation of the Firefox browser Complete reconfiguration of the Firefox user profile It is noticeable that the problem only occurs for this one user. Other colleagues who also use the same web application with Firefox see the selection window displayed correctly. Can you help us?

Thank you for the support
