I have had a single Firefox Account since 2018. I have updated through three primary email addresses: let's call them 1, 2 & 3.

July 2020 - I changed Firefox Account to primary email 2, and removed primary email 1.

August 2020 - I registered for Firefox Monitor. I added many "another email" (the maximum number, 10 I think) to be monitored : let's call them emails 4-13, and set "Send breach alerts to the affected email address".

December 2020 - I changed Firefox Account to primary email 3, and email 2 is my account secondary email.

April 2021 - I received an email to email 4 saying it was in a breach.

Today - on monitor.firefox.com it says I am not monitoring any emails except my primary email 3, and have not been in any breaches as pictured.

Therefore, there is a bug with monitor.firefox.com: - On the one hand, email 4 (and presumably 5-13) are all still being monitored. - But on the other hand, monitor.firefox.com states I am not monitoring any other emails.

Could a Mozilla dev please get in touch to look into this specific case?

A previous thread on the support website has an incorrect answer: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1288732

The responses may have been correct at the time, but there is an easy solution to this problem now. However, the thread has been archived so no new responses are allowed. The problem is a Google search (as well as other search engines and even a support.mozilla search) pops up this archived, incorrect response first. In some searches, a correct response cannot be found on the first page of search results.

It would be nice if there was a way to unarchive older questions to add a new answer to inaccurate or dated info.

Hello there,

Since the month of August, our Google Optimize personnalisations are not working on Firefox, even though they are working well on all the other browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari...) Is it something that happened since August ? Is it something we can fix ? I don't understand why it's only on Firefox !

Thanks in advance !

It appears that you, Firefox developers, changed the browser in version 89 so that bookmark menu items are now super far apart. Users now have to scan twice the vertical space and/or scroll to find their bookmarks. I'm on version 92 and this is annoying.

Overly complicated hacks were devised to eliminate the extra spacing. Maybe people who are using touchscreens appreciate the extra space, but for users using a mouse, what I would assume is the majority, it's obnoxious. In the previous link, jscher2000 says, "If you have any issues with the new design, please let us know what it is you don't like, and we can try provide more permanent solutions depending on the issue." So, here I am.

We don't like the double-spaced bookmark menus. Please provide a method for choosing a compact view of the bookmark menus. This could be a separate option or just piggy back on the Normal option (versus Touch) on the Density in the Customize Firefox tab (see attachment). Either way, regular users (e.g., people's parents who have them using Firefox) shouldn't have to change CSS to fix this.

I have a Windows PC and I use high contrast mode due to vision issues. I didn't use dark mode in Firefox because before the last update, colour inversion was applied to Firefox automatically, but it turns out that doesn't actually matter, since enabling dark mode makes no difference to the problem I'm experiencing.

Since the most recent update (which was only applied for me this morning), every website I visit is in forced light mode, including the landing page.

As mentioned above, turning on Firefox dark mode makes no difference, nor does turning on dark mode on the websites I'm visiting, if available.

The header and URL bars are still dark, and some websites have some black boxes here and there.

I can't read text on a white background, so Firefox is unusable for me right now.

The following issue has existed for every version of Firefox after 73.0.1. Cannot open hotmail or gmail if you are running uBlock Origin! The only way you can open your emails, while having uBlock Origin set to on for those two websites is to hit the browser refresh button and enter your email account password in again! There are no issues in Chrome with uBlock Origin with the identical settings within uBlock. Someone should figure out what architecture was changed after 73.0.1, which is causing the issue. I should not be required to disable uBlock for the hotmail and gmail websites just to be able to open those email accounts. It would be nice if someone was willing to address this issue, finally.

Programs I always used, now request to enable JavaScript. Spent hours and days trying to load/enable JavaScript. No luck. Decided to reset FF. Whoops!!! It reset, but by itself, like magic, it reloaded all of the previous extensions. Startling and weird; threw me for a loop. This wasn't what was supposed to happen. The dead had come back to life. Gremlins at work? Oh, and contrary to FF "comes with JS", that did not happen. Ran reset again, just in case last night's booze had lingering after effects. Same astonishing hallucination. More baffling than ever. So I ran several on demand Anti-virus scanners; system is clean. Bewildered and frustrated, I resisted the urge to throw the f#*&^ing computer out the window, when I noticed the sun was rising; so I fell asleep. After several hours of sleep, punctuated by visions of monster virus zombies, I awoke, and then sought help from a nerd. But the esoteric terminology used was beyond my pay grade. Silly me for asking a venerable nerd for help. Witchcraft, or am I infected by a new virus? I believe this misery may have started when I manually updated FF, prompted by a program that checks for updates. Kindly note that I am not a computer whiz, but I can follow simple directions, minus verbiage that I don't have the foggiest interpretation of. Sorry about that. Please help. Thank you.

I can find no recent documentation on command line options for the Firefox Browser. All of the information on this appears to be out of date or just does not work any more (in the latest version June 2021). Is there any documentation on this anywhere that is correct for the current version of the browser? I am specifically trying to run firefox with command line options on Windows 10 but I do not see that that should make any difference. The only option I can get to work is starting firefox with a specific URL; even then I have to change the browser settings to get that to open a new window; because the browser settings override the command line option -new-window

In previous versions of Firefox I was able to save items in local storage in one HTML file and read them back in another HTML file when both files were loaded from the same file system directory of the local machine.

Version 92 seems to have implemented a breaking change where separate local storage tables are created for pages loaded from the file system based on their file path - meaning a page can only access local storage items set from the same window location used to open the file from disk

As far as I can tell the change has not been mentioned in release notes , nor does it appear to be part of a bug or enhancement request filed on Bugzilla (that I was able to find in searching), nor are local page names entered as "sites" to allow management of their storage under security and privacy settings.

I have a workaround for my particular needs - rename a local system main page to something else, rename a setup page to the main page, make setup changes and store them from within the renamed setup page, then undo the file renames so the main page can load updated setup data, but t qhe phrase "ugly hack" comes to mind.

Before launching on a major rewrite in search of a better solution, or helping friends set up a node/express server on their devices, is there any way to re-enable sharing of local storage between HTML pages loaded from the file system?
