firefox crashed, says it is running, I have done all the things suggested, it says my parent.lock file is corrupted, what can I do.? I have uninstalled, and reinstalled?

I was using mozilla firefox, one tab wftv, and other farmville then it totally crashed. I restarted computer and tried to restart firefox and said it was still running and close . I have restarted my computer 6 times. I went and looked of solutions. I cleared it in the windows task manager, I tried to delete parent.lock file but says file is corrupted. I uninstalled foxfire and reinstalled and I still can not into foxfire. How can I fix this please. thanks.
