with firefox 4, google toobar seach box suggestions no longer appear in the search box itself

After installing Firefox 4: When I start typing in the Google toolbar search box an item, like NYT and the search suggestions appear -- like NY Times -- I used to be able to click on "NY Times" and this would appear filled out in the Google search box. This no longer happens. Instead, what I have typed in is the only thing showing: NYT.
