I know there is (or used to be) a way to block sites that annoy me. That's why I prefer Firefox to the other one. But I cannot find it any more. And there is no help reference to it.

You can use the HOSTS file which will block websites for all the browsers you have installed on that PC.

Or, you can install the BlockSite extension for Firefox.
