How do you tell which website triggers the request for the master password? The request is occurs every time I start Firefox. I was thinking of putting that website on the exceptions list so that the reuest doesn't occur till really needed.

If you have a master password set it will be triggered by any site for which you have remembered the password.

Have you got a remembered password for your startup page?
