only when i am on livestream I can not connect to live chat; the website say it is because i use firefox. Can this be fixed so I dont have to change browers?

I have a free account on Livestream and I can not connect with chat or make comments. However sometimes what I type in and enter does appear on other peoples feeds but there is no movement on mine, It just reads disconnected will reconnect in so many seconds...or it reads connecting, I have only had this problem on this website so far. When contacting their technical support they inform me it is because I am using firefox. I do not want or wish to use google chrome or any other browser. can FireFox fix this problem for me?
