Yet TB displays 2 hrs earlier in the Date column: 09:55

How to correct? I had set the Calendar timezone manually, but it is now set as above. I tried deleting calendar.timezone.local but it is rewritten when TB exits.

My settings does not have an option to enable Firefox Labs so I can enable AI support.

• Firefox browser.preferences.experimental.hidden was set to true and I changed it to false with no change in results
• there is no "Firefox Labs" section in my settings anywhere and I've checked "General" and "Privacy and Security"
• toolkit.experiment is set to true
• browser.ui.experimental set to true
• labs set to true

Found redit discussion with the same issue, but no solution

According to this page the option should be in my settings, listed after "sync" and before "more from Mozilla."

I've attached an image of what my settings menu looks like. There is no option for the labs.

What else should I try/do?

Note: using Firefox on Desktop PC. Not a mobile device. My Firefox version is 130.2.2

My settings have this right at the top, but I am the "organizer." I am the one that set things up on my oldest laptop. When I updated the laptop with a new one, I had that message, but it was okay at that point. But now - new laptop, and I want the control back. Please guide me in how to do that.

When starting Firefox with a completely new generated profile, I still get following errors in the Browser console tool:

At this time using Firefox, I haven't configured a Firefox sync-account, to sync settings with the central stored profile on Firefox servers.

Solution: May it is helpful, that if a sync-account isn't configured by a user, these function calls should be suppressed by Firefox, in order to avoid these exception/error messages in Browser console. These error message are just irritating messages, as long as a sync-account isn't configured and activly used.

after upgraded to 137.0.2 ... 'settings, general page, applications,ms-settings' calls for 'Use Settings (default). since i keep all app settings at 'always ask' what is this new setting, or why did it change? thankyou

I keep getting Japanese language on searches. This started while I was in Australia in October. If I'm on WiFi it searches English but on cellular it searches Japanese the tries to translate to English.

I removed and reinstalled, all my settings are set to English. This is the only app doing this. I'm currently not using any VPN either

I have an issue that even in settings page, here, in Firefox - i have around 50 fps. I have 240hz monitor and 4070 gpu and 14900hx cpu. In Chrome - i have noticeable 240 fps. What should i do to have same 240 here, in Firefox?

With the new version of TB the address book has become unusable. It is not White Text on white background. I can't find any settings to reset or apply a theme or fix the colors of the text within the address book. There are many settings and themes that one could apply to the mailbox but if one can't see the address book that pretty much it useless to try to use the email.

How does one just set up the ENTIRE program to apply a theme? Or can we get a working White and Dark themes that address all Text and All backgrounds to make them legible so there are at least useful. TB has become very frustrating. Sorry to rant but before the big changes to use native Darkmode it was really good email client but like so many that try to embrace the darkmode trend (which isn't a bad idea) they are falling short of addressing the entire product.

Any help to address the color issues in the address book would be greatly appreciated.

When I open gmail on Firefox it is automatically opening a new email tab. How do I disable this?

I also cannot select gmail in my "mail to" applications.

Had to reinstall, so starting over. When I look at the Junk log, there are tons of messages listed that are not junk. How do I rescue them? and how do I make sure they are not treated as junk in the future?

I'm getting junk mail that uses my wife name as the sender. My wife died a year ago and I do not like seeing her name being used this way. Basically, the email (fake billing) has: her name as the sender my email address real sender address (junk/spam name from gmail).

I need to have any email as she being the sender to automatically go to junk and trash.

Please, tell me how I can do this. I'm getting up there in years, so any help and a "how-to do it", I would really appreciate it very much.

I was not able to "see" any way within Thunderbird on how I can do it. BTW- the version of Thunderbird is: 128.9.1esr (64-bit) and my OS is Ubuntu 24.10

I like mozilla browsers like Firefox, Firefox Focus and Other version like Fennec(F-Droid) ( I think it's not maintained by Mozilla, anyways leave it)

My default browser in settings is Firefox Focus and even after keeping it as default I got a prompt to choose between different browsers and I have choosen Firefox Focus again for Always but I don't understand why Firefox(Release/Stable version) kept overriding the default settings by itself without my permission, I don't understand how it can make itself as default browser engine? I want Firefox Focus to be default but Firefox kept on annoying me by making itself default, so I just deleted Firefox(Release) and Downloaded Fennec(F-Droid version), it's not causing this problem.

I hope, I have explained my problem as clearly as possible and I had downloaded that Firefox browser from Play Store and not anywhere else also it's the latest version. So it's not tampered and if you guys want details about my mobile

I've been using Firefox in Windows for years as my default browser. Suddenly tonight, Microsoft Edge became my default. When I go into Windows Settings and try to change back to Firefox, Windows offers me only Microsoft browsers as alternatives (or offers to let me into the Microsoft Store): Windows Edge or Internet Explorer.

The Control Panel / Settings page "Set Default Apps" is the only way that I know that Windows lets users set default browsers, but it suddenly seems to be restricting me to only MS browsers.

Firefox works normally in every other way, but warns me now every time I launch it that I have a different default browser. When I click the button in the warning (or in Firefox's Tools / Settings) I just get put back to the Windows "Set Default Apps" page, which, again, only lets me choose Microsoft browsers.

What could have happened? I haven't altered my Firefox configuration or installed extensions or plug-ins in a long time. If I uninstall & reinnstall Firefox, will I lose my many configuration & interface settings and will I have to reinstall all my extensions -- or will the reinstalled Firefox remember its existing configuration? Or would that probably not help at all.

I'm very computer-savvy, but have run out of ideas. Can you help??

My issue is that if I access the upper right corner of the screen, titled "Open Application Menu" and go to Settings I'm told my Browser is not the default AFTER THE PROCESS OF JUST MAKING IT THE DEFAULT.

It seems there is an effort to try and drive all of us nuts. This never happened before, and if it continues it will be the end of electronic communications (which it is suspected is the plan by those who engage in violence to achieve their objectives).

What I came here for was to have my settings, after the process (done many times previously) show a response in Settings that, "Yes" my browser (Firefox) is the default, which it did for a time today. Obviously there is no persistence.

When I got help on this issue previously, my response was I already tried that, and it didn't work. There used to be a lot of different browsers. Now I haven't come across any of them currently. Some are having great success in seeing to it that only their browser will survive. That seems like a "gangland" type of mentality to me.link text I believe I spent enough of my time on this issue and explained it in detail. There's really nothing else I can "contribute".

I, by the way, went to my Internet provider today who found an email under Preferences that she said had the capability to steel my emails. It had an extension in Australia (*.AU). If that has anything to do with this problem I'd like to buy a pair of handcuffs to see if that individual(s) being constrained from using a PC keyboard is a cure for this problem.
