Please teach me how to quickly jump to the folder where I have saved an attachment file on my PC soon after I saved the file? I want to open the attachment file soon after I have saved it to a folder I selected upon saving it. Does Thunderbird have a function to indicate the folder to which I have saved an attachment file on my PC?

When I open Firefox on my computer, I get a blank page for my home page. I have attempted to change my home page using the drop-down choices, except for blank page choice. No luck! Help.

Where is the option to do this? I only see the general "Delete browsing data" in Settings, and it does not let me select cookies for specific websites.

If this option was not included in Firefox for Android, why??

I can open my page. I checked in console if there are any requests to other domains/ports - no. It makes single GET request to http://localhost:8090. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, Until recently, I was able to double tap the browser bar and have the window expand to fill the screen just short of "full screen" mode so I could still see the menu/task bar. I remember I did need to adjust settings for this somewhere but can no longer figure it out now that it is not functioning to this spec any more.

I did check about:config to see if "apz.allow_double_tap_zooming" was set to TRUE and it is, by following this suggestion below:

Is there a setting that I am missing that allows me to see parts of two months simultaneously? As an example; May 2025 ends on a Friday and I have an event which straddles the two months. Unless I have missed a setting somewhere, I am forced to toggle back and forth between the months to see how the timelines are laid out. Perhaps a minor irritant, but one which I can only recall running into in the Thunderbird calendar.

If there is a setting I am missing, please point my blind eyes to it. If not, this could be a nice improvement. Toggle or no toggle.

Hello: Thanks for creating Firefox. This is my first question after more than a decade using it. I couldn't find proper information about this. This week Firefox started to show a tiny shopping cart icon over the task bar icon of Firefox (image attached). I don´t know what it's and I can't find the functionality that make that appear. So, How do I disable it? I use Firefox everywhere, and I don't like it, specially in my job's laptop as my boss can occasionally see it and it's obviously not work-related in my case. I use chatgpt to get answers and it points to a "Shopping Assistant" feature, but I don't find it. Is it related? The term is so common that I couldn't narrow down to my specific question (what is it and how to disable it)

to put it shortly, after launching firefox, even when it goes to the "new tab", is always prompts for primary password. everytime. it also happens when i just go to a website like twitch. which im already logged into, it doesn't ask me to login on the website and firefox still prompts for primary password.

i am using windows 11, firefox version 138.0.4 (64-bit) my profile is synced with firefox. my windows machine does not have a password to log in. in the bug report they say it's solved with version 136.0.2 but obviously it still happens to me

I have been through other threads about enabling the Roboform toolbar icon. It has been a couple of years, multiple windows 11 PC installations, fresh installation. No roboform toolbar icon to this day. After multiple failures, I came up with a crazy fix I should never have to do. I am using the Firefox password manager in conjunction with Roboform. Just plain crazy. Any idea what might be going I would appreciate. I will cancel roboform if the problem cannot be rectified. Thank you Jeff

Typically if I experience a security certificate exception, thunderbird will popup the certificate exception box, I click to get certificate and am done.

Today I cannot get the certificate popup to appear. which is fine I know where the certificates are managed but I have not a clue how to add a certificate OR what information to enter into the "Add security exception" dialogue box

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My experience with Firefox has been great for more than 15 years. However recently there's been a trend of adding new functionality without asking the user whether they want it or not. Moreover, some things cannot be disabled even if I try hard enough.

It was an unpleasant surprise to discover that "This time, search with" panel was removed without my consent, and is now replaced by an extremely inconvenient button. I firmly believe that this is not how UX design is done, and whoever made that choice needs to reevaluate their decision.

How can I revert this change besides rolling back the browser version?

The setting "browser.urlbar.scotchBonnet.enableOverride" did not help, it reverts to *true* on every restart. I have not been able to find any other settings, and I believe that this is not something that a user should do their research on.

Is there a way to affect this change?

I am trying to remove the EN_US spell checking option from Thunderbird, I have thunderbird 128..10 installed as a snap on kubuntu 24.04. I have tried all the things like removing hunspell dictionaries, I hunted through my profile directory and removed the EN_US xpi file but still the US spell checking will not go away. Does anybody have any ideas?
