PLEASE HELP! One day last week, Firefox for my PC disappeared and it seems that Duckduckgo has taken over. I have used Firefox on my PC for a few years and occasionally use duckduckgo as my browser. Now I cannot find Firefox. It is up-to-date, as of last week.

Anyone succeed with running Firefox in headless mode under Ubuntu?

I tried:

firefox --headless --safe-mode -P headless https://quan.hoabinh.vn

but got this error:

I installed Firefox as from "https://packages.mozilla.org/apt" repo.

This morning I reset my PC, and upon doing so Firefox would just not work. Anytime I tried booting up firefox it would for a split second show the browser than revert to a screen where its just the firefox logo, where upon clicking it would become unresponsive

I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice both times completely clearing out firefox data from across my pc, i've tried to make new profiles, i've cleared out caches etc, yet anytime i try boot it up it still doesnt work

i've spent the past 6 hours just looking through fixes and still, nothing works every other browser works fine, aside from firefox

Can you help me repair my FireFox Browser? The shortcut did not launch the browser. It stated that the file had moved or was no longer working. It still appears in my App folder but the only option is to uninstall it. I have a great deal of short cut tabs and all my stored passwords. How do I repair this? If I re-download Firefox will it access all of my stored information and preferences?

Sadly for me it is absolutely not the case It has been a few days since I can't use Firefox at all. When I try to open it, it tells that there is a "side by side error" and that I should use sxstrace.exe. I did that and it tells me that It can't find mozglue, mozglue.MANIFEST, mozglue.DLL. I use Mozilla in French (it is my mother tongue), and it can't find them in French, English or in Neutral :

Thinking it was also linked to the Redistribuables Microsoft Visual C++, I just downloaded all of them again.

My version of Mozilla is 152.0.6.595 and I am on Windows 10.

Please I really need your help and don't want to lose any of my tabs, bookmarks and passwords as I was making very important research for my PHD studies.

I don't use Firefox daily, so not sure exactly when it last opened ok on my iMac (26.5.2). So I downloaded Version=153.0.1 BuildID=20260727124451, and tried again. When attempting to launch, the icon in the dock bounced a few times, then nothing. When repeated, it only bounces once.

Likely unrelated, but I had very recently upgraded my LuLu app (4.4.3) from Objective-See. It monitors outbound connections. But disabling the app changes nothing.

I'm not a MacOS guru. I expect there is an error in a log file somewhere that reveals the problem, but I don't know where to look.

Version 153 in general seems to be more buggy than previous.

• The most affected bug now is opening links in new tabs will endlessly show the loading animation in the favicon tab area, and the page will be blank failing to load the content.

• No choice but to restart Firefox in order for it to function again.

• Also, every time relaunching Firefox gives the "Firefox is already running" message pop up.

• This started happening after updating to version 153.

I have used firefox for 13 years now and I have never had any major issues with it. but recently I have noticed that whenever I open it on my laptop, the laptop freezes and then a black screen, then a mozzila firefox crash dialog box. sometimes I am forced to hard restart the laptop then use another browser. I still want to continue using Firefox but that issue is really frustrating.

Firefox keeps crashig upon start-up. The tab stays open but it just says not responding.

I've tried deleting, and re-downloading, changing settings, changing and deleting profiles through profile manager. Troubleshoot doesn’t work and neither does refresh.

Other browsing apps work just fine, it's just firefox. I only had one add-on, which was AdGuard AdBlocker.

I hadn't done anything that I'm aware of, hadn't touched any settings and only had a max of 3 tabs open at a time.

I don't really know what else I can try anymore.

I kept getting crashed error everytime I open firefox. It prompted me to update which I did and install. I LOST ALL my apps and passwords that was shortcut on firefox. I need that restored as it has a lot of my business access links to sites.

Additionally firefox keeps crashing and giving me error message to restore or close. I click close but I also clicked restore and it still kept on giving me issues. It's causing me a lot of stress.

When attempting to start Firefox a box appears requesting password to install HELPER. Passwords are not accepted and CANCEL button halts Firefox startup. I have been a Firefox user for 15+ years. Don't want to be using Safari on the Mac. Q

I have had problems with the latest FF for Mac for a week or so. Not opening. I deleted and reinstalled it, and the problem continues. It crashes my system and I have a spinning wheel that required a hard restart. What's going on? Running Tahoe 26.5.2
