I have various shortcuts saved on the shortcut page comes up after logging in. Its set to 2 rows.. I use it every day. Used it this morning and working perfectly. Been out and when I came back the page is totally blank. I've tried sytem restore to 5th October but makes no difference. I use Windows 10 and read that Firefox are continuing to support Windows 10 I'm visually impaired and use a desktop PC with a large screen. I'm not PC techically knowledgeable. How do I restore my shortcuts or how do I re create them?

After the update yesterday, all of the pinned icons/links on my home page have been rearranged or replaced with others. I restarted the computer and also closed the browser and opened it. Still messed up, I have several that are the same link and some that are missing.

Any way to get them back in order other than trying to figure out what is not there and resetting it all up again.

It was suggested that the pencil icon was not enabled.

The pencil icon shows that the shortcuts are enabled in the "on" blue position - 2 rows. I also checked the shortcut box in the firefox settings home and it is "on " as well.

Tried rebooting my Dell laptop running windows 11 and still no shortcut appearance on the opening page.

A long time ago I was able to set the max number of rows for shortcuts on the Firefox home page to 5. Sometime fairly recently it has changed to 4. I don't know why nor can I remember which line in about;config I used to change it. I think the line was "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows" but when I try to change it, it does nothing. At the time I first changed it, the max it would change to was 5. The max now appears to be 4 if I did it correctly. Your help would be appreciated.

Hello, I'm using Firefox on Linux Mint. All of my homepage shortcuts have disappeared without the option to add them back. I tried toggling the shortcuts option on and off and nothing happens. Nothing also happens when checking and unchecking the sponsored shortcuts setting.

The favicons on my homepage are not appearing when I launch Firefox, and I can't find any way to restore them. Turning the favicons on/off in the settings doesn't help, it just moves the location of the search bar. I've included some images to better illustrate the problem.

Is there any way we can restore the favicons?

Good morning. I opened up Firefox this morning and all 4 rows of shortcuts were missing. I have gone into settings and made sure the settings for 4 rows was still the same. I cannot find them anywhere. Please help

My shortcuts no longer appear on my homepage. This just started happening. Shortcuts are still enabled in my settings. I refreshed Firefox. The shortcuts reappeared for a while, then disappeared again when I closed/reopened Firefox. I am on Windows 11 O/S

Please let me know how to get my favorite sites back on my home screen. I use them a lot as they are real time savers. When I signed on this morning, it asked if I wanted Firefox to access my computer. I've always said yes and the updates have never caused a problem - until today.

I would appreciate an email ([edited email from community support forum]) letting me know how to get this to work.

Hi, Since the last update for Mozilla on the laptop (updated on 6/Oct/2025 - version 143.0.4 (64-bit)), all the shortcuts to websites in Firefox homepage I had pinned have disappeared. Also I can't add new shortcuts. I already have shortcuts enabled in Settings>Home>Firefox Home Content>Shortcuts.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Why doesn't Firefox recognize my correct location? It gives me the weather for Chicago, IL on my homepage. I don't live in IL. MS Windows and Edge have my correct location, so why doesn't Firefox?

I have tried to change weather location on my Firefox homepage by putting in the correct town and state, then hitting the search icon but nothing happens, although once I was redirected to the AcuWeather site.

This is not that big a deal as I can get my weather on my Samsung phone, but it is puzzling.

My homepage saved sites are just not showing anymore when I start Mozilla or open a new tab. They are still saved but they are not showing up at all, I have checked about:config and everything is still there. I have tried following things: 1. restart Mozilla 2. restart PC 3. refresh Mozilla (this worked... for 1 day, I had to manually put all the saved sites again but they again disappeared when I turned on PC the next day)

However, if I enter troubleshoot mode, everything is still there and working. So I assumed it is an extension or a theme problem, which would be a great solve if I had any really. I have no extensions and I use the same basic theme that I start with. So I tried disabling hardware acceleration, didn't work. I am running out of ideas really other than switching to Chrome at this point.

When v143 was released something happened to the shortcuts row(s). Regardless of refreshing efforts, rolling back versions, and searching the forums, there's no way to consistently get the shortcuts back. Sometimes they appear with a new browser instance, sometimes they don't. They don't appear with new tabs, and they don't stay when they do appear with a new browser. Grrrr. Please restore the shortcuts!

It is pathetic and shows greed that whenever I do a search, their website shortcut is added to your landing page,m resulting in lost of sites I CHOOSE to access.

Stop the GREED and advise how I can stop this from happening.
