My API URL is giving me CORS Error in Mozilla Firefox, but in other browser there is no error. I have tried many methods like changing the about:config but it didn't make any difference. Its been days I am facing this issue. Kindly help. Thanks in Advance.

Hi. Can anyone tell me how or what firefox told me by show an notification window on the left side of screen in firefox. I dropped my laptop and picked it up and my fingers pressed some buttons. And I had no chance to see what the window was viewing. The Buttons i could have pressed down is on the right side.

Please help me to figure out what firefox was telling me. Or what function I activated or deactivated. Because there was an notification screen on the left side in firefox

Hey folks... I am running the latest ESR version for windows 7. I know, its limited support and stuff but I have this most annoying problem that just doesn't seem to want to go away.

Every day, several times a day, I am told there is an update available. I have gone in several times and downloaded and installed the latest release. The install goes fine, there are no issues. Yet, over and over again I am told there is an update... but I have the latest version installed.

In the past, I have used the "distribution" folder trick to stop updates and I have removed that a long time ago. I can't figure out why it keeps telling me there are updates, when there are none.

How can I stop this from doing updates where there are no updates to get? It's driving me nuts...

Since the recent installation of the latest version of Firefox I am getting a simple 'Forbidden' message when I attempt to get to the Go Outdoors web site. I also get the same result when attempting to go to Blacks, another outdoor supplies provider similar to Go Outdoors.

How can I turn this message off? Some sites I visit give me that message, it shows up when I'm typing a reply to something which pushes the page lower and fouls up my ability to keep typing, then if goes away, comes back, goes away ... I just want to kill the message entirely. I'm not worried about speed, there's nothing to fix, I just want the message gone.

Saved themes in Firefox color not visible in add-ons manager. Does not fix itself in safe mode. One of the saved themes is a default preset I liked, the other is a preset I made myself, using all options except advanced colors.

I'm still using windows professional 7, it works for the most part. Unfortunately often the browser won't load or it will load and runs very slowly, then it shows a box saying close previous firefox. When it is running slowly I often have to hit the browser many times until the box shows up saying close previous firefox. Is this something to do with windows 7 or another completely different issue.

I noticed that someone else had this question, but instead of answering it, it just got archived.

When browsing Youtube, the browser Back Button doesn't work. For example, if I start on the Youtube main page, then click on a video, it will show the video. But then, when I click the browser's "Back" navigation buttion, it does not take me back to the main page. The URL in the address bar will be the main page, but it will continue to display the video I just watched instead.

This only seems to happen on Youtube. It's been a problem for a while - possibly as much as 2 years or even more. And it doesn't happen every single time. However, it has been happening a lot more frequently lately.

It's almost as if Firefox just doesn't want to refresh.

I've tried clearing the cache. The problem persists. I've dried disabling all add-ons. It still happens. I've tried running it in troubleshooting mode. Still a problem.

I've tried to duplicate this in Microsoft Edge; it doesn't seem to happen there.

hi, some websites lately have password inputs set as "text" in the html and that confuses firefox into NOT suggesting saved login/password for those fields.

i inspected the password field in question and this is the correspondent html:

btw, if i change the type to "password" it DOES suggest the saved login/password.

PS : the website in question is a login page for a dahua XVR.

I have to wait for 10-15 minutes after starting Firefox and then the "normal browsing" goes fine.

But I can browse without troubles through "private browsing" since the opening of the private window.

In my work laptop, Firefox in "normal browsing" goes fine since the beginning.

In both computers I have my user sinchronised.

...when you do some of the solutions to this problem the copy-and-paste from either the vertical column or in Bookmarks manager it will copy the whole URL code as the title of the link and not what you renamed that link or its default name from its creator.

Is there a way to copy-and-paste the bookmarks WITH the already-created link names attached from the previous Firefox / Waterfox browser?

As per the subject, I can no longer restore all of my settings after this last update. I guess it's time to explore other options. Mozilla is nowhere as good as it used to be. That's progress. Low-paid interns and shoddy support help to influence.

I have used Pocket, and found it useful, but am infuriated by one issue. If I don't click on a particular selection, I cannot get back to it on Pocket. Why is this? Why can't I get back to the display of Pocket articles when I choose not to follow a particular avenue? This really gets my goat.

Hello. I am recovering data and files from an old Windows XP machine and have installed Firefox ESR browser. I can go online without problems but when trying to log into my account for Firefox Sync I get the error message " Blocked by Content Security Policy This page has a content security policy that prevents it from being loaded in this way". I have a problem with the launch and operation of Mozilla Firefox/Seamonkey. Sometimes the browser gets stuck for minute until the sites start opening. At the same time, when browser starts up, I see activity that was not initiated by me.

After some time of use, the system crashes with a blue screen with an error in the ndis.sys driver.

These problems began to occur after one of the next FireFox updates. Previously, the system had been working without a blue screen for many years. If I do not start FireFox, the error does not recur. Also, if I make filtering TCP connections with the site in the RU zone at the external firewall, FireFox works stably.

I want to understand which process/component/setup entry initiates this activity. Also, I don't want the browser to try to get any information from sites in the RU zone.

FireFox version: 115.7.0esr (64-bit) System version: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit SP1

I have just discovered the page works ok on Chrome so I will use that for now, but I am reporting the problem to try and help you. I am using latest version of Firefox.

I just followed the button below about extra troubleshooting information and lost all the information I had typed into this box, which irritates me as well.
