add-on updates do not install after restarting FireFox
If I go to Tools-Extensions some of my add-ons have updates are available. After I download it says it will be installed after restarting FireFox but it does not. I'm not sure update is being down loaded, but it looks like it is. The Progress bar moves forward but it does not show on down load page. I'm using Mac OS 10.6.8 with FireFox 19.0.2

Sometimes the corruption of extension files will cause the issue. Try the steps in the following article. The files will be recreated when you restart Firefox. There are also other suggestions in that article.

I fixed problem by using the "reset FireFox feature". be sure to print list of your extensions because this will remove them, but as far as I can tell everything else is still in place.
