When attempting to use Oracle EBS (11i) in Firefox 4.0.1, I receive an error message requesting me to install something that has already been installed. Please see details for complete understanding of situation.

I receive the following message:

"In order to access this application, you must install the J2SE Plugin version 1.6.0_11. To install this plugin, click here to download the oaj2se.exe executable. Once the download is complete, double-click the oaj2se.exe file to install the plugin. You will be prompted to restart your browser when the installation is complete."

This version of Java is already installed. Re-installing it does no good.

When I had Firefox version 3.5 this worked after I copied a Java dll file (npjpi160_11.dll) to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\. I have tried this for 4.0.1, but I receive the same error message. I then uninstalled 4.0.1, re-installed 3.5, but Oracle still wouldn't work.

I prefer Firefox to IE, but if Oracle cannot work I simply won't be able to use it. Any assistance on this will be appreciated very much.
