My wife clicked on Yahoo News article that from history I can see was in Singapore and malware has seized the iMac.
Further to the malware, it references Windows OS but has seized her Mac. I powered off. Rebooted. Within about 15 seconds of opening Firefox the malware pops up and freezes the Mac. By the third time I was able "force quit" Firefox and the other applications function properly. I beleive I deleted Firefox but probably didn't get it all out. I reinstalled firefox and upon booting up Firefox the malware is still activated. Can you please assist with a fix?
