Is there a way to revert to the old search bar? The new design adds unnecessary clicks.

In previous versions of Firefox, using an alternative search engine was seamless: I just typed my keywords and clicked the specific search engine icon.

With the current update, the workflow is much longer. Now I have to:

1. Type the keywords 2. Click the dropdown arrow 3. Select the alternative search engine icon 4. Hit Enter

Why was this UX change made? It feels like a step backward.

I've reviewed the two links provided, and the issues mentioned are identical to mine. It seems this change has impacted a significant number of users.
