AMD driver freeze when watching stream in firefox

I have a two monitor setup. Since I installed the new AMD driver (26.1.1), sometimes when I play a game on my main monitor, and watch stream on Twitch in Firefox on my second monitor, it can cause the PC to freeze completely. I hear the sound, but the image is stuck.

I tried to disable the hardware acceleration in Firefox, and it seemed like a good solution. But because of that (which is its function), sites became laggy.

Is this a Firefox, or an AMD issue? Or Windows (I'm on Windows 11 25H2)? I will try to install an older AMD driver, but honestly streams had became laggy before the driver update for me.

Hi, I guess it's hard to say without looking into your particular case. I'd recommend you to file a bug on Bugzilla, Mozilla's bug tracker, so that the developers can take a look. You can also post a link to your bug report here.

I reverted back to 25.9.1 AMD driver, seems fine.
