I don't see any button to install Sync. I just set up a Firefox account, but don't know how to recover them. Would I need to get into the dead tablet? If so, I'll get a battery (it won't charge now). Thanks!

Hi,

So it sounds like your tablet was logged into firefox before it died? If so, please follow these steps:

  • Install Firefox on a computer.
  • Open and press the Firefox account icon at the top right hand corner.
  • Log into the same account as you used on your dead tablet.
  • If you have any verification emails in your inbox, confirm them.
  • Go back into Firefox and click the Firefox account icon to expand the menu.
  • Click Sync now. It will now sync all bookmarks from any other logged in devices.
  • Then press the Library icon and press bookmarks.
  • All bookmarks saved accross any devices logged into Firefox will now display here.

Hopefully this helps!

Thanks for the response Ethan. I should have been clearer, I haven't known how to set up a Firefox account. I just downloaded it a few years ago and used it. It seems like the bookmarks must be stored somewhere, I just don't know how to recover them.
