Firefox is lowering my volume for other apps including other tabs when I play videos or other audio sources, how do I stop this?

First of all I gotta get rid of the stupid suggestions, YES I have disabled the "Allow other applications to take exclusive control of this device" in the windows settings, Firefox still does it and so does Skype but that's something else. The fact that Firefox is lowering ITS OWN VOLUME of other tabs is annoying but I also can't speak with someone and watch a YouTube video cause Firefox lowers the Discord volume. To make it more clear the volume bar in the windows mixer has the same level but everything is turned so low that I can barely hear anything. Yes this happens even if the videos I play are on mute. I think this is everything I can say about the problem, please help or release a fix or some settings to disable this "feature" which sucks.

Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla within Firefox before posting No information makes it very difficult. Do not know what version you are at : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version to 57.0.2

https://gyazo.com/e7d48d06fee6c18f817a2ea1b5197c12 it shows the info here, it doesn't show the .2 but it's just a security update so it doesn't matter.

Actually there's one thing I forgot to mention. Whenever a program lowers the volume artificially (same thing for both firefox and skype) if you mute the specific audio source in windows volume mixer and unmute it, it is restored at its original volume since the windows takes priority and doesn't like when another program *cough* Firefox/Skype *cough* messes with volume when it shouldn't have permission.

Might be the other way around. Please read and test. https://www.tekrevue.com/tip/windows-reducing-system-volume/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I don't want to be mean but are you even paying attention to what I said? What u linked me has to do with the default comunication device. Firefox DOSE NOT use the communication device also that would not explay why one Firefox tab would lower the volume of another firefox tab. Also as I said above I made sure it's not windows, I'm not stupid, all the settings of windows that would allow other apps to take control of the volume are turn off. And again Firefox is not a comunication device, at least look at what you link next time.

You just linked the same thing again, and as I said that's not the problem, you just go copy paste links without caring or reading exactly what someone said... Can you read that the communication device IS NOT THE PROBLEM and that it's something else? Whatever, you're here just for those badges...
