Inserting a Picasa slideshow on to a Google Sites page, using the appropriate tool and link, creates a framed slideshow which appears normal in all respects except that the area where the slides are supposed to be remains black. Following the same procedures, my installations of IE (32/64), Chrome and Opera all work correctly in this respect.
