Mon. 11/10/25 -- Good evening. Periodically, the Wallpaper option that's available when you have a new tab opened is NOT THERE. I've used your backgrounds and sometimes my own. But out of the blue, a new tab will have no background picture and when I use the pencil to open the menu, there are no wallpapers showing.

I don't see a reason for this, particularly since I haven't changed anything and no one else has access. This is a Dell Desktop, XPS 8960, fully loaded, enough of everything and running on Win 11.

So - are there limits to the graphic size used for a background? Would this be caused by a FF update? So many questions, and thanks for answering them.

I had to wipe clean my iMac today due to some access issue. Everything was gone !!! I had to re-install Firefox as the default browser. Now I want MarketWatch to open on Firefox every time I open the Firefox browser. Please send step-by-step instruction to this 82 yrs old lady user.

Also, I had Mozilla VPN. Please show me how to re-install/download/put back this service so that I can park it on the tool bar and choose to use it at will.

Please keep your instruction very human friendly. I don't comprehend well the "digital lingo".

Why there is no option to use/configure a local running ai chatbot in the "Choose an AI chatbot to use in the Firefox" sidebar? Or does it exists and I didnt see it?

I know his sounds stupid, but I can't find the settings button on my browser. The browser is fully up to date (updating is automatic). I don't understand what the problem is. I ended up on this help screen from the settings listed in the My Account page. Is this the only one? Or is there another settings page & button somewhere else in the browser. Your advice and information will be appreciated. Thanx.

I cannot get full details on my banking page with Firefox anymore. It is my primary browser . I had the issue with Chrome also when I tried it but it was ok after removing Norton web app. I removed that same app from Firefox but only get a header on USAA and nor details of my banking. When I go to Settings - Cookies and Site Data - Manage Data, it doesn't show all websites that have stored data. Even including for which sites I have a tab open, and I can literally see in the dev tools they have cookies and other storage. Maybe not all of them cache, but most do, and all those sites definitely have other storage like localStorage, and cookies.

How can I get the mentioned feature to *actually* show all sites that have any kind of data that I might wish to clear?

And if I find 2 or 3 sites are missing from there, how many more are missing that I'm just not noticing?...

I tried to use a ftp link setting firefox as the default ftp app, not realizing firefox no longer supports ftp. I am unable to reset the default app and can't find the setting to do so. I downloaded filezilla and wish to set it to be the default app for ftp. Can someone help me with this? Before anyone suggests it, resetting firefox to default settings is not an option.
