When the new update arrived yesterday, I started getting multiple popups from McAfee & Mozilla. Three stay on the screen at once, and when I X one, another appears instantly. This appears to be a scam trojan, but 3 different excellent anti-virus programs have not found anything. This never happened until the latest update. What do you know about this? I don't want to uninstall & start over, but what other suggestion do you have? p.s Usually when I right click on one of them, it takes me to a McAfee ad. I just clicked on one that gave me the option to turn off notifications. That seemed to stop it, at least for now. Am I the only one with this problem? [redacted email from community support forum]

Firefox created a folder "Old Firefox data" on my desktop which is impossible to delete. I am getting an error "Access denied" even when trying to delete it as administrator. How can I delete this folder?

The current version of Firefox is very frustrating to use. It often will not let me enter a password but will send me to the saved passwords. I do not want to put all my passwords on the computer. I have 2 U tube accounts, and the new Firefox will not let me enter the account info directly, but sends me to Google. I have had to resort to using Microsoft Edge out of sheer frustration with Firefox. Previous versions of Firefox did not have these problems

When I started up Windows 11 on my new laptop, I had to connect to the web via Edge to be able to install Firefox. I foolishly went on to install Firefox via Microsoft Store. I have now installed Firefox from the Mozilla website via the Microsoft Store version, but I cannot uninstall the Microsoft Store version. I don't have access to the folder where it is installed even though I log on as an administrator.

How do I revert back to the previous version of Firefox. I have tried to "Manage bookmarks" to get all my bookmarks to show correctly, however there is nothing I can find that tells me how to do it, and there is nothing intuitive about this new version.

I have used Firefox for years. Have a backup computer that has Windows 10. It defaults to Bing. I hate Bing! VERY much want to use Firefox for Windows 10. Dear Mozilla team, I have nothing to add I made a short summery to a guy who asked why his computer starts redumdebly with Gmail and it's specially to him my question is adressed to.

Completely broken AI and absolutely nowhere to download it.... Worked perfectly fine yesterday, and the poof, it's gone. All the options are still there for AI block and not blocked. Configs are set. You can even see where the AI is supposed to be. Where is it????? Why is there nowhere to download this "extension" (SmolLM2-360M-Instruct-GGUF) when Firefox gets its back broken? I'm not 500 IQ, so I'm not compiling it myself on Linux. Please help me get this feature back. Firefox clearly still thinks the ML/chat feature exists. Yet the On-Device AI section is missing from about:addons.

I had lots of trouble making Firefox work yesterday, after what I believe was a Mozilla update I had to uninstall and then reinstall. What I am experiencing after the new install and all updates is: I placed the icon on the taskbar. when I open Firefox it opens a new icon in the taskbar. I have two icons when using firefox instead of two like it has always been before. In the picture, the icon on the left is always there. The one on the right opens when I open firefox. Is it supposed to work like this? It is a windows issue? Is it A mozilla issue? Anyone else having this issue. I have tried different ways after deleting the icons, to place it back on the taskbar. I used the pin to taskbar, drag and drop on taskbar... Any ideas. Just live with it? or fix it somehow?

I recently installed Firefox over Firefox Beta because I didn't like the daily updates. Now I'm stuck with this popup every time I open Firefox. It's stupid as the application runs normally.

Hello, I just bought a yearly plan of the Mozilla VPN and would like to use it in a docker container using gluetun. However, I'm not able to find where can I see the connection information. Is there a way to obtain the VPN tunnel information to configure my VPN over it? Thank you.
