I am encountering an issue where PDF files fail to display properly in Firefox, appearing as blank pages. This problem persists across multiple PDF documents, suggesting a potential browser compatibility or configuration issue.

Request:

   Please investigate this behavior to identify the root cause (e.g., rendering engine, plugin settings, or recent updates).

   Adjust Firefox’s default PDF handling settings or implement necessary fixes to ensure proper PDF display.

Dear all,

I just found that in Firefox 139 for Android the menu buttons "Install" and "Add to Home Screen" disappeared. I tried deleting the cache, reinstalling, restarting the smartphone. I tried different websites, included well-known PWA apps (i.e. https://github.com/mdn/pwa-examples ).

I'm on Lineage 22.2.

Am I missing something?

Example with facebook.com in the images. Note that on x.com a popup asks me if I want to installa the app version of the website, but the menu options are still missing. It's only website I found where that popup shows up.

I read the The Times in the UK and have no problem viewing on my iPad and Google Pixel phone using the Firefox browser. However on my laptop using Firefox I get a screen that says Secure connection failed and recommends contacting the vendor as there is no workaround. On microsoft Edge there is no problem I like Firefox but for me this is a major limitation. Any ideas or suggestions welcome

firefox keeps knocking me out of certain web sites such as discovery netflix ,telling me to update to the latest version then restart it but no luck so far please help me ,as i still getting payed for the webpages but still can not watch because i need latestversion of firefox please help.

I took a look today and I had 237 MB in cookies! This was after clearing the cache of all files. I've only had this (new) machine a couple months.

Short version: Sites have "cookies" from 200kb to as much as 34MB! For many of the sites over 3MB I have no account and have visited them only briefly.

To be clear, I don't care about the space being used. It's trivial. But what the heck is FFox storing and calling it "cookies"? Last I checked, a site was still limited to 4K size cookies and perhaps 50 per domain. So how are we getting to MB+ sized "cookies" per site? Again, the cache was cleared, so what's left aside from trivial cookie files of <4KB?

I just update firefox but all my none of my bookmarks loaded. I share my computer with my husband. He has a different account on this same computer and his bookmarks are showing up on my side, but mine are nowhere to be found. Previously we have had separate bookmark lists and all was fine. I don't know where my bookmarks went.

How do I get them back and put on "my side" and still have my husband's on his side?

Hello, I am trying to login to my account on www.zazzle.com and use their site. Sometimes it will let me through and I can be on the site for about 20 minutes before a captcha comes up that says press and hold this button so we know you are not a bot. Well the button never works, it always errs out and gives me the message to please try again, and then locks me out of their site. I have tried clearing my cache and cookies, updating my browser, resetting the router, I don't have any VPN's, I have tried working in a private window, adding the website to the privacy exceptions, block pop up windows is unchecked, I am out of ideas, what do I do??

For the last few months I've been getting slow responses with online applications. When I switch to chrome, it all runs at a normal pace. Specifically with " The Customer Factor"

Regardless of website Accordion controls don't work / open to show information. These controls work fine in other browsers and work fine on the same sites. Is there a setting I am missing. it also works on other macs I own. Thanks

I lost a bookmark folder in my main computer. I did a sync and it did not appear. I opened an other older computer and it was still there. I did a sync and expected it to then show up in my main computer, it did not. I went back to the old one, there it had now disappeared. The help files say go to bookmarks, then to manage bookmarks, except I don't have "manage bookmarks", just a list of some recent bookmarks. When I do a " bookmark search" for something which was in the folder, it finds it, so the folder is still somewhere. How do I get it back? Why did sync fail and did not add it from the old computer?

Hello! I wanted to see if there was a way to have sent tabs be automatically opened on Firefox mobile. Searching "Automatically open sent tabs on Firefox mobile" gives help guides on syncing and not how to automatically open links sent through the feature.

Instead of having to open any number of notifications I would much prefer the tabs automatically populating the tabs browser. I currently send from PC/iOS-mobile to Android-mobile but will be switching to a second iOS-mobile device soon.

why does firefox blocks incoming http conection to localhost:8080 when I try to obtain a google oauth2 token using oauth2.py ?. The Google server returns the token via http to loaclhost:8080 and the port is blocked by firefox.

Increasing "network.http.connection-timeout" setting in Firefox to a big number – say, '9000', does not change the time period after which "The connection has timed out" message appears (the default value is '90'). Changing it to '0' makes this message appear even faster than when using the default value.

Please let me how I can increase timeout to a big number.

Are you aware if there is any reason why firefox seems not to work with https://mycambridge.sso.cambridge.org/ in combination with the google authenticator app. I'd be most grateful for advice, as a longtime firefox devotee, who has to remember to use an alternative browser for this particular combination. Hello I have reinstalled my firefox on a new reinstall of windows 10 as my older version 10 crashed and went to the wall. however I have all my tabs and fafourites up and running but when i try and download my paid version of Nord VPN firefox comes back and says its not secure and wont load the website ? this has been working for me in the past. any advise would be greatfully accepted. thank you.

Hi for some time now i have been having issues connecting to my website.. it loads every other site but when i try and load mine on firefox it comes up with no internet connection but my site works on other browsers.. anyone have any ideas on a fix for this ?
