On Monday September 25th from 10PM EDT - 12AM EDT (2AM UTC - 4AM UTC on September 26th), we will be performing system maintenance on the Firefox Accounts databases for two hours. During the maintenance window, there will be brief periods of a few minutes where users will not be able to login to their accounts. Please try again at a later time.

First check a setting for how Firefox opens.

  1. Open the options dialog - in the Tools menu select Options
  2. In the Options dialog select the General panel
  3. Make sure the setting "When Firefox starts" is set to "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

If it is already set to that, there may be a problem with the file that stores details of sessions.

  1. Open the profile folder, for details of how to access it see Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data
  2. Close Firefox
  3. In the profile folder delete sessionstore.js, plus if it exists sessionstore.bak

Hopefully, when you next close and re-open Firefox it should rmember the sessions.
