How can I see my bookmark folders that are in the bookmark toolbar
Hi, I know I'm just missing something basic here, but coming from the Chrome world I'm having a tough time with the bookmarks. I am accustomed to seeing all of my bookmark folders when I select the arrows at the end of my bookmarks toolbar. In Firefox I don't see that. I can see those folders under the bookmarks toolbar in the bookmark manager, but I would love to just be able to click on the arrows on the end of the bookmarks toolbar and have them drop down just like they did in Chrome. Do I have it all wrong? Do I always have to have my bookmark manager open to be able to bounce from bookmark to bookmark? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi all, Thanks so much for answering. I opened my browser up this morning and there they all were! I had spent so much time managing my bookmarks and getting rid of the unwanted ones and organizing them that I never thought of closing the browser and starting again. I guess my 2AM brain was just fogged. I'm so appreciative of your time and thoughtfulness to help out a Firefox newbie!

Hi. First, the bookmarks toolbar has to be visible, if that's where you put the bookmarks toolbar. Secondly, the "bookmarks toolbar items" has to be on a toolbar.
To make the bookmarks toolbar visible, right-click on the 3bar menu or a toolbar then hover on Bookmarks toolbar and you will see 3 options. If your bookmarks aren't there, right-click again and select Customise toolbar. You should see "Bookmark toolbar items" on the Customise page. Drag it to where you want it. If it isn't there either, press the button bottom right labelled "Restore Defaults".

When not all bookmarks fit on the Bookmarks Toolbar then Firefox should show the overflow chevron (>>). See also:
