I was using Firefox on windows 10 laptop, everything was synced with my account. Now after switching to Ubuntu I can't see my bookmarks, Just an empty toolbar. Now I don't have access to my old laptop, I sold it.

Any help?

If you're all good, mark issue are resolved. I also highly recommend having different versions of Firefox. I have a Firefox folder in my Download folder where I store the different versions. The different versions are seen by sync as different devices and you can sync your data to them like a "backup". The screenshot is old, but you understand that my data is in several places on different devices. It would be hard for me to lose my data.  ;-)

WOW! So you didn't verify your Firefox data before selling your old laptop? You may be in trouble. Did you sync your data to any other device?

Thanks for the reply. I see all bookmarks in my phone though, so it means they are synced in cloud. But I don't see them in freshly installed Ubuntu. I see "Last synced XX minutes ago" and tried all options I could find in settings related to bookmarks, but still don't see them.

Firefox I'm using is the snap version, which comes pre-installed with Ubuntu.

So verify that everything is checked in the sync options on your phone. Then download Firefox from Mozilla, sign into your account in the version you downloaded, make sure everything is set to sync in the browser, and then your data should sync. see screenhots
