
Roadrunner email account.
My email stopped working properly yesterday AM. The same msg kept repeating and not lettinng any other msg come through.

Sounds like you have an email log jam.
Log on to your webmail account via a browser and delete the email you have already downloaded and Empty the webmail 'Spam' folder.
In Thunderbird: Click on the 'Get Messages' to force a download. If still fails, then back in webmail account, read and delete the oldest email that has not been downloaded or move it to another folder.
Then in Thunderbird retry the 'Get Messages' to see if all emails now download.
