Recent updates delete setting in Ad Block Plus for Firefox

After all recent updates (including the one today 1/29/20) a new window opens informing me that settings for Ad Block Plus for Firefox have been deleted. I get a message which states, in part "It seems that an issue caused all filters to be removed and we were unable to restore a backup. Therefore we had to reset your filters and Acceptable Ads settings."

Extensions use a UUID that is stored in a pref named extensions.webextensions.uuids to link to their storage folder in indexdDB (storage\default folder in your profile folder). If this pref gets reset or otherwise lose their value then extensions won't be able to find their date.
