Would like to have a sidebar link as it's own window, but interact with my primary window.

At work we have a sidebar URL, I do know how to set it as a sidebar within Firefox. What I would like to do is detatch that sidebar to sit somewhere else on my screen.

I know I can open a small window for the side bar specifically, the only issue is when I do a call with it. It opens the pages in that small window and I would like it to open the pages in my main window. So if there is any way to lock the sidebar to it's own window that calls back to my main window interface with Firefox that would be much appreciated.

Currently using FireFox on Linux Mint Cinnamon 18.2
