Hello

Many folk using Thunderbird to post and read Usenet messages appear to have restricted their line length to around 72 characters.

When I'm typing a message that's what MY messages look like. However, once posted to a group and I go to read my post, the lines go the full width of the page.

Is there a simple 'tweak' to fix this? Any help will be appreciated.

force text sending in plain text. That is where the line length becomes relevant. HTML posts wrap and no line length is necessary.
