Hello,

support.mozilla.org/kb/website-translation says, when you do not have downloaded translation packs, parts of the packs will be downloaded when you first use the translation function.

My questions about this feature: - How does this work exactly? - Will the words from the website which i try to translate be collected and "downloaded"? - How are the translation language packs parted? - What information will be used and sent to servers/cloud to request these parts of the translation packs?

I noticed a wierd popup when opening mozilla. It said "you're always starting mozilla when starting the pc". How and why does an internet browser have to have any information regarding when I boot my PC? What else does mozilla look at outside the browser environment?

If they claim it's needed for performance: Illogical, boot times have nothing to do with the internet browser. If referring to general performance then you can't possibly track and tailor every new piece of hardware that enters the market. Instead you make your browser with prerequisites that you yourself control (eg. install vcredist for this browser to work or something like that).

Why then is Mozilla monitoring my computer when the browser isn't even open or running?

We are getting substantially more junk mail with the change of our X@RetroCA.com email from Verio/Apollo to roundcube+ - what can be done to get back to very low junk mail like we used to have? Currently I am moving dozens of emails from our inbox to the junk box.

You installed without my permission the Microsoft web app. That is spyware that has cost you this user. I will uninstall Firefox, tell everyone I know what you 'security-minded' liars are really doing to us. I belong to a gaming club with hundreds of members and by tonight they will all know not to trust Firefox. You really have some nerve teaming up with that nasty organization. Before this day is out all my contacts on all my social media sites will know what you are doing. I have a $3,000 rig that you jeopardized.

I have been using your browsers for years. No longer. Any time I can bad mouth you I will. You can take that to the bank.

I have made multiple attempts to access your product but cannot get any further than reading the Privacy Policy. Why is there not an option to agree and accept.? This is very odd for a reputable company!

I am building a browser automation tool using Firefox Developer Edition. Recently, I started running into an issue where an "Agree to Terms" (or Privacy/Welcome) popup appears when the browser launches.

Because this is an automated environment, this popup blocks my scripts from running properly because human interaction is required to click past it.

My Setup:

Browser: Firefox Developer Edition (latest version)

Use case: Automated testing/scripting

What I am trying to achieve: I need to know how to stop this popup from appearing entirely, or how to automatically agree to it. Are there specific command-line flags (similar to Chrome's startup flags) or about:config profile preferences I can inject when launching the browser to bypass this?

I have attached a screenshot of the exact popup I am seeing.

Any advice on the exact flags or preferences needed to silence this for automation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Just getting started using Mozilla features after many years absence. So much has changed! I have yet to decide what I need help with. All of it! So let me proceed on my own to figure this out and return for support when I feel I need it most, and more importantly, when I feel I feel I have the time and energy to devote to the learning curve required.
