I've been using Firefox for several months since switching over when the migration to Manifest V3 in Chrome gained momentum. Initially, Firefox worked flawlessly, but over the past couple of months I've encountered a recurring issue where downloads often fail -- sometimes right at the start and other times midway through -- especially with larger files.

I've encountered this issue across multiple machines, and changing the destination drive where the files are saved hasn't made any difference. Interestingly, the same files download without any issues in Chrome, so I've ended up relying on Chrome exclusively for downloads.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Whenever i search something on google, firefox desktop (all fine on android) is failing to display the ai(gemini) answer no matter what questions i ask.

Same happens in the "AI Mode" option that is available in google's recent update.

And, I,m logged in.

This started since a week, everything was working fine before that.

Guten Tag, ich arbeite mit Thunderbird auf Linux Mint. Jeweils in den aktuellsten Versionen: Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon Thunderbird 128.11.0esr (64-Bit)

Auf meinem bisherigen Rechner begann Thunderbird mit dem letzten Upgrade von Linux Mint langsamer zu laufen. Da ich mir nicht anders zu helfen wusste, habe ich in einen neuen Computer investiert. Obwohl der Rechner jetzt deutlich performanter sein sollte, hängt Thunderbird mindestens genauso wie vorher. Zum Teil ruft Thunderbird auf dem neuen Rechner auch keine neuen E-Mails mehr ab. Ein Neustart korrigiert das zwar wieder, aber beim nächsten Start kann es dann wieder genauso sein.

Alles, was man in den Foren findet, um Thunderbird schneller zu machen, habe ich erledigt. Cache gelöscht, im abgesicherten Modus gestartet (da ist Thunderbird genauso langsam). Auch verschieben von Nachrichten in Archivordner brachte keine wirkliche Besserung.

Ich nutze Thunderbird für 7 Kalender (zum Teil lokal) und 10 E-Mail-Adressen bei unterschiedlichen Anbietern.

Als Add-on habe ich DKIM Verifyer installiert und aktiv.

Ehrlich gesagt, bin ich inzwischen ziemlich verzweifelt, was das Thema angeht. Witzigerweise lassen sich die Entwicklerwerkzeuge nicht aufrufen. Keine Ahnung, ob das vielleicht ein Indiz für den Fehler sein könnte.

Hat jemand eine Idee? Oder noch Fragen?

I get a message like this every time I start Thunderbird. The topic came up last year but the conclusion was along the lines of "...this problem will be fixed in version 128" but it was never clear whether or not the User followed Mozilla's support replies or what they had to do to clear the email message from Thunderbird. .....Well I'm running version 128.1.1esr and the problem still exists.

My questions:

1. What is Thunderbird trying to do? Compact individual email files? Compae from ct the whole Thunderbird Profiles folder?

2. Is the problem the size of the Profiles folder or the overall size of the hard drive the Profiles folder resides on? What is the Hard/solidstate drive is the maximum?

3. Is the problem related to the amount of Free Space left on the Hard/solidstate drive or is the issue the number of individual files?

4. Is the issue related to the number of Thunderbird files and/or folders OR is it related to the total number of files and/or folders on the hard drive?

5. Is there a limit to the number of sub-folder levels that Thunderbird can navigate?

when i oppened tbird on windows 10, it showed a page to obly my for a donation. i had made a donation short ago, but eventhough, i just made another one time donation. when i open tbird again, i can not get out of the donation page. what should i do please???????

MB is telling me to put MB on Firefox! BUT, I already have MB on Firefox. Can you help me.

Although I have successfully logged in many times, I get an error message today: An error occurred during a connection to b2clogin.firstenergycorp.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

When File Explorer of Windows 11 25H2 tries to access and open an icon-file in the FF (144-64bit) profile's 'shortcutcache' folder, explorer gets Access Denied. The account running Firefox has admin rights.

Looking to the ACL of the profile folder containing the folder 'shortcutcache' show no reason for the blocking. Trying this with a new profile did not help.

So my problem is that User. Interface seems to not work when I go to a Website the UI Doesn't work also the texts have some kind of White texture And it's just annoying and I've been using Google Since And to some websites The screen Just goes White

On some sites, not nearly all of them, I can click a link and it'll spin the circle in the tab for about one or two minutes before acting like I never clicked it. If I click it again after it spins, most the time it'll load immediately. And then there's periods of time where every link I click loads immediately.

I mostly have this problem on archiveofourown.org but I've noticed it on other sites.

Mozilla Firefox 115.25.0 (x64 en-US) won’t close since my previous version was updated on 6/29/25. I have tried closing it in my Win7pro Task Manager on several occasions, and had even tried to uninstall and then reinstall it from my “Programs and Features” menu, but I keep getting a message that the program can’t be uninstalled until it is first closed. when I am downloading something from Firefox then my internet speed decrease to below 1 mb per second while my regular WiFi speed is 200mb per second. in chrome or playstore i don't face any problem but in Firefox it is always there.

Yahoo Mail won't open. Saved Yahoo Mail at bottom of page says "No internet connection" but work even though other apps and bookmarks open and recent Yahoo Mail saved at bottom of page opens when I click on it. Have most recent version Version 115.18.0esr 64-bit? Restarted Firefox but still won't open Yahoo mail bookmark.

When I try to load "Comments" I get this message:

Failed loading comments! Please try again...

Trying again doesn't help.

This is a fairly recent problem
