Some users are abandoning Firefox because of the difficulty of protecting against Firefox fingerprinting. Therefore, I strongly recommend adding an option in the settings that allows the digital fingerprints to be made random, or at least, if it is difficult, to make the fingerprints indistinguishable. This will help improve Firefox’s reputation and the privacy of its users. Love you all 3:

As of yesterday, I have a message on Inspire.com which says Opt-Out Signal Honored It even says that before I log in. They are checking at their end, can you please help me? This is the only website that I receive this message.

Also, I am receiving more and more pop-ups that say WARNING SECURITY RISK "Be careful. Something doesn’t look right."

"Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with tracenep.bidprism.com. Someone pretending to be the site could try to steal things like credit card info, passwords, or emails." Some are websites I use, some are not. I don't remember adding this to my list or changing any of my extension settings. Please Help.

I'm getting popup ads that open a new page after I punch a link I hit the link and an unrelated page comes up inn addition to the link I intended to open. It even does that when I click on an email. Is there a way for me to stop this? This was happening before I upgraded to the version I'm on now.

I've been receiving pop up messages on firefox saying something like "Torguard won't work with apple updates going forward". Is this genuine as apple say they don't use pop up messages.

Why is Firefox trying to establish UDP connections with Google IP's every time I open it?

I'm using a HTML file as a hypertext that catalogues a hard drive or folder. I want the file names to be clickable--to open the file, but but the file:/// href is blocked. What is the work around. All of this is local

I started getting a different login screen for yahoo and so I was on the lookout for the https:// that would ensure I'm at a real website. I noticed that I don't get any https:// on anything in my FF esr 140. Even if I enter it with the address, it disappears as soon as I click to open the website. I tried out Edge and the https:// is there. Is there some reason this is being removed in FF, as it is something reassuring and doesn't take up much space.

The goal is to avoid Google. Copilot advise me to under Security, to uncheck the box "Block dangerous and deceptive content". Is that advisable - should I comply?

I have McAfee pop-ups that seem to be linked to Firefox. How do I get rid of them? I have used the McAfee MCPR tool, but the pop-ups remain with a Mozilla Firefox notification box. When I open a link from an email I get nine of them. Seconds ago I just got a system update Mozilla Firefox alert box; if I click on it, I get a page to sign up for McAfee.

I am receiving popups - sometimes five to seven, stacked, and purporting to be from Firefox or Mozilla but having a clearly "poisonous" URL, The popups warn that my computer is infected with a dangerous virus and want to to click on them to remove it.

I do have an anti-viral program installed - "McAfee".

I went on the Mozilla page regarding reporting bugs but it is a bit above my pay grade to understand.

DRM nags are back ! I am very suspicious of this ! Stopping FF DRM nags yields NO search results -- but used to. Zero searchable information in the Mozilla databases. What a search for DRM nags does yield is LOADS of outrage (see attached) against FF. I am getting a VERY, VERY suspicious. Before FF tries to monetize more functions -- FIX THE LEGACY ISSUES !!! One thing after another, all week, month and year. 'Upgrades' of the browser induce panic and fear these days. "What will break next ?". You people need to look at shrinking market share and growing outrage and have a Come-to-Jesus moment ! Pawning off 'support' on volunteers is about as cynical as I have ever seen. No useful answers for weeks to many things I have posted since migrating machines to Win 10/FF 15x.

Would it surprise you to know that a few weeks later, Mozilla announced that AI would be its top priority in 2025? I note that this was listed above privacy." Where the Hell is the AI Plague going to get a broken browser ? Look at those damn search results ! Gazillions of posts by fed-up users and vastly shrinking market share.
