After connecting and signing in to Mozilla Connect, it seems impossible to actually log out. There is a log out option in the dropdown menu, but it doesn't work. After "logging out", when going back to the site one is automatically logged back in. This is true even after clearing all mozilla.org cookies, and closing the browser. If a different browser is used, first time access to the Mozilla Connect site requires username/email and password, but after the first access, the alternate browser is also perpetually logged in.

1. What mechanism is being used to identify me as the user after cookies are cleared ?

2. How does this fit in with Mozilla's claims to respecting user privacy ?

3. How do a log out of the Mozilla Connect site ?

Hi. I have three email accounts set up in Thunderbird. I would like to change the order that they are currently in. How best can I do that?

AI tells me I can't just drag my Gmail.com (IMAP) from local Folders to the internet-connected folders section, which contains my Verizon.com account hosted by AOL. How can move my Gmail (IMAP) account safely?

My old provider has stopped supporting my old email address and I have changed to a gmail address. How do I remove the IMAP and smtp settings etc for my old email address? Also remove all trace of that unwanted old address please?

First I have went through and followed all listed steps to remove an account. Second I am not an idiot. Third I am trying to remove the pop up for a password of an email account no longer monitored. I have removed it properly and cleared calendar settings. The is no user for this email account in my profiles It is a gmail account. I am unable to decipher the JSON file.

Al I want to do is remove this from happening.

I keep getting email messages saying that my Firefox account will be terminated on May 26th because I don't use the browser enough. Is this true? I also use a different browser, but do use Firefox occasionally.

I'm using Thunderbird from a little time anmd I have a problem with "Unified Folders" After installing it, I added my 10 accounts one by one and found out a problem. Simply Thunderbird doesn't want more than 1 "yahoo" account. I can enter even 15 accounts and Thunderbird can manage all the accounts with "Unified Folders" without problems and I see all the accounts. But if I were to add another "yahoo" account, Thunderbird no longer handles it with "Unified Folders". In fact it disappears and I only see it again if I activate "All Folders". I can't understand why. Maybe I need to setup something on yahoo? Can I solve this problem? Thanks PS: I speak italian.

Hi, i'm wondering if there is a way to get rid of this "account". If I understand correctly, it is used for outbox (before mails go to the sent folder of the proper account), and also used for default Archive destination. I understand why this would be required for pop3 accounts but i'm using only IMAP or Exchange. I'd rather have my archived mails go to the Archive folder under the proper account too.

I have closed my Rogers account and have opened a Wightman account. Before I closed the Rogers account I downloaded Thunderbird and transferred my e mails and contacts to Thunderbird. To do that I had to put in my Rogers address. Now, when I open Thunderbird or try to send a message from Thunderbird, a pop up asks me to sign in to the old Rogers account. As this account is no longer active I cannot use Thunderbird. I have tried to change the information from Thunderbird E mail but cannot get it to change. My new e mail address is martinwea@wightman.ca Please help me to make Thunderbird work properly! Martin

Clearly, this is a very basic question which has undoubtedly been answered before, but I haven't been able to find it. If Thunderbird had an old-style Help feature with an index, I could probably look it right up. But coming to the forum is the only option the program gives me.

I received an email that said my account would be closed in 7 days unless I signed in.

I leave my Mozilla tabs permanently open and use them every day. I tried to sign in as instructed and got an "unknown error" about 3 times. Then I was sent to a page talking about Windows 10. I have the extension; that's not a problem for me.

Closing Mozilla and possibly losing all those open tabs would be a BIG problem. Evidently I'm signed in now. I hope everything is OK with my Mozilla account.

Question 1: How can I add an HTML signature file for an account in Thunderbird for Android by referencing a file on my phone? Or, something similar that will accomplish the same thing (i.e., HTML email .sig).

Background: In Thunderbird on my Desktop (currently using 140.10.1esr), I can go to Account Settings, select an email account, check the "Attach the signature from a file instead (text, HTML, or image):" and then "Choose..." a file I created on my local machine. My file is HTML (e.g., mysig.html) and references an image (in the same local directory). I want to replicate this in TBA.

Question 2: If there is no way to do this (the functionality is not purposefully there and there is no work-around to fool TBA into behaving properly), is there a place I can submit this request to the developers?
