we can not open the web whastapp with my laptop the message from Mozilla Support, we should updated Mozilla latest version. but the problems my laptop still use windows 8 please help and give me the solution How to update? thanks

A few times now, I have inadvertently opened a second Firefox window. The original Firefox window comes up with two pinned tabs. If I close the original window then when I start Firefox the next time, it no longer has pinned tabs. I am running Win8.1 on a desktop system.

I am having problems using a third-party website, playing chess, and one of the functions on their website is not available to me because I keep getting an error message. they have a forum on which I am discussing this issue with one of their Mod's, and he seems to be under the impression it has something to do with my Browser (Firefox 115.32.0esr) storing site data, and that the file in which this is stored has become corrupted in some way. I have no idea how he arrived at this conclusion but that is what he said.

I assured him that, "in Firefox, under <Privacy and Security>, in <Cookies and Site Data>, there is an option marked: "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed." this has a tick box next to it and on my computer this has been selected for about the last five or six years. the browser does not retain site data or cookies and deletes them each time it closes. when I follow the instructions you linked to, and click <Manage Data>, there is no data to manage. it does not exist."

however, he replied to this that: "I don’t think that setting deletes Local Storage, though I’m not 100% certain."

one observation I make is that when I open the <Cookies and Site Data> <Manage Data> dialogue, the websites I have visited in the current session are listed. this data therefore does exist, and there must therefore be a file, even if only temporarily, containing this data. my question is about what exactly happens to this file when I close the session.

1) is the file emptied of data, but still exists as a file.

or

2) is the file physically deleted so that it no longer exists.

if, after the session, I reopen the browser and select the <Clear Data> dialogue and click <Clear> does this simply empty the file or does it physically delete the file. if the file still exists, is there any way to ensure that it is physically deleted in order to confirm that it is not corrupted in some way?

When I get to Medici to watch operas when I click on the opera to watch it I get error 500. This occurs on my pc. When I use my roku downstairs and go to Medici everything works fine.

Hello. My tablet, has limited memory, due to its age. I am now finding that one of the main reasons why it is so slow is because whenever I open firefox, it opens multiple firefox processes which drain the memory and in some cases crashes the system. I have followed all the advice given to reduce these multiple processes, however nothing seems to work and at least 6-8 firefox processes open each time I open it. I have unchecked the recommended performance settings as well as hardware acceleration boxes. However, I cannot find where to set the content process limit to 1. Please tell me how to do this and if there anything else I can try to stop it opening multiple processes or I may be forced to ditch Firefox altogether for an alternate such as Bing, Chrome or DuckDuckGo. Dear Firefox Team,

It has re-occurred to my Firefox Browser of the latest version of 115.28 with some websites which I have recently visited however which have appeared 8 grids of blank or white pages again under "Recent Activity" as attached with the image for your technical troubleshooting suggestion.

Those 8 grids of Recent Activity in the older version of Firefox browsers used to have shown colorful graphics or images representative of the recent websites I visited in the recent past.

May I know what I am supposed to do to recover those graphics or images?

Kindly offer any suggestion or solution?

I have tried endlessly to go onto Anesco website, it comes up with Forbidden 404 on all their sites, my solar system is managed by them but I cannot access the sites to contact them anyone got any ideas please, https://anesco.com/

Suddenly, i am finding when i get to the end of my bookmarks and scroll up, the bottom most bookmarks show up. And scrolling down, as i reach the last bookmarks, the topmost bookmarks show up.

I have had 2 sites produce this error box in place of the target Web Site (See Picture). I have read previous topics about this and have followed the instructions with no positive results. FYI, clearing the web site's cookies, clearing Cache and disabling Hardware acceleration.

The first was https://www.walmart.com. After leaving a "Feedback" 2 weeks ago it appears as if they were able to fix the problem. However, the site is not as important as my Medicare PPO provider. I tried loading previous versions of Firefox, but that did not help.

In both instances the LOL "support" people's response was to try a different Browser. So, I reluctantly loaded Google Chrome and it worked perfectly. From my perspective, this eliminates everything to do with my machine setup.

I still have not had any improvement with tab crashes especially on sites containing videos. Lately, every time i go on Facebook and play a video reel, i stop the video and before i can return to my home page, the tab crashes. This browser has gotten worse rather than improving.
