Whenever I try to visit Walmart it goes to a dark background. Here is a screenshot. Checked for viruses,found none. It happens on other sites as well.25 percent of the time this is happening. I am using a dark theme,and have been for a while but this never started happening until a few weeks ago. its not supposed to happen at all,its just a theme for viewing tabs,and icons for addons,and the upper menu in mozilla firefox.

The possibility of moving icons of those extensions will be a huge improvement.

Please send through to the right department. If those functions still aren't available jet.

If I have Mozilla Firefox open for a period of time, if posting a link, or refreshing it's as if there is no internet connection.

Web links in other tabs have no problem, only Tumblr.

Closing out the tab which Tumblr is in and opening a new tab and inserting the link produces the same result as if there's no internet connection.

The only way so far to rectify the problem is to close out Firefox, then restart. There also seems to be a delay in Firefox closing. When I click on the Firefox icon to open it, a pop-up appears that Firefox is already running, would you like to close it?

As the subject describes, installing Bing Wallpaper causes the vanishment of icons of the six default search engines in my region (China Mainland), i.e. Baidu, Wikipedia (actually the icon of Wikipedia is still there), Bing, Google, Amazon and DuckDuckGo, but these search engines themselves are still usable though. It is probably caused because I chose the choice that setting Bing as my default search engine of all browsers and the application (Bing Wallpaper) reset all those engines. I have tried removing these engines from my settings list then adding them back, but the icons are still invisible. I have not tried to uninstall and reinstall my Firefox.

My Firefox version: 94.0.2 My OS version: Windows 7 6.1.7601, Service Pack 1

Suddenly I cannot acess my account at Sychrony Bank and their tech department says this is an issue with an update to Firefox, which I use on a Windows computer. I have a similar problem with shockwave.com.

How does one specify which program opens a .zip file after it is downloaded?

Presently, the download functions properly, but when I click on the file, VLC media player opens; have no idea why; how can I specify 7-zip File Manager instead?

"Homepage and new windows" setting allows "Custom URLs" as an option. "New tabs" setting allows only "Firefox home page (default)" or "Blank page"

Why is there no longer an option in "New tabs" for a "Custom URL" ??

Is this just another of those program designers' decisions of a less-is-more "improvement" . . . ? Well, it's not.

How can I return to having my Homepage URL also designated for new tabs?

been using ff to login to vg for a couple years. ~2 weeks ago it quit working-i click login & nothing happens, the login page remains unchanged. login works with chrome & opera no problem.

Hello to all members of Firefox team. In the place we live, the ISPs all turned on safe search mode for users without their satisfaction. All we can do is turn that off. But in the Firefox we can't do that. Please let us know how to turn it off with a Firefix to Firefox.

Hi - I need some help restoring the 100+ open tabs that are in Computer1, and open them AS-IS in Computer2.

To help you understand my story......Computer1 is main machine, and I had over 100 tabs opened in there. I would like to transfer ALL of the open tabs to Computer2, before re-partitioning the C Drive in Computer1.

The problem is, my Computer1's Windows 10 is giving me problems at the moment, so I can not get into the computer by logging in. No recovery or diagnosis method will do the trick, so I will have to reinstall a fresh copy of Windows into Computer1. Besides, the computer was troubling me for having only ~50 MB available space in the C Drive (I have multiple partitions in my hard drive).

For now, I have removed the hard drive from Computer1, attached it in Computer2, and have access to the data in the various Computer1's drives.

I read many articles here in the Support Mozilla help site to restore the 100+ open tabs from Computer1, into Computer 2, but it is not working for me. I even tried copying the entire "sessionstore-backups" folder from Computer1's location, and replacing the same folder in Computer2's location.

Maybe I have to do more than just copying the "sessionstore-backups" folder, like do something additional through FireFox options??

Any help would be appreciated.

Various website that contain dynamic content are not being rendered by Firefox to display that content. This is happening with websites that provide transportation information and ticketing, including Amtrak and Peter Pan Bus Lines . It is also happening with a genealogical website, FamilyTreeDNA, on pages that should be displaying family tree information. Illustrations of two pages are attached. I have been able to access the information by using Opera on this same computer and operating system, and by using the same version of Firefox installed on a different computer with different operating system. I am not sufficiently proficient with website development to know or understand what type of dynamic content is being generated by these websites, or how Firefox interprets the content. My suspicion is that some Firefox setting has been enabled or disabled, but I do not know which one it would be.

My issue is, I transfer a lot of long Word-97 generated text to various web-forums, which contain simple formatting (bold, italics, paragraph spacing, varied 'forum supported' fonts). When the text is copied, all the formatting is stripped in Firefox and only pasted as plain text.

Is there a way to copy and paste a document's text so the formatting is not removed?

p.s.: this is a browser issue, older browsers--like IE-11--copy the information fine (they have some paragraph vs. line issues (now, which is likely forum side), but otherwise work fine.)

Firefox began returning a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR error on all websites a few days ago. Chrome likewise. MIcrosoft Edge is working fine. I am running Windows 7 with Kaspersky. I tried turning off the Windows Firewall and the Kaspersky protection, but it didn't help. I also tried disabling plugins, theme, and add-ons but it still didn't help. Any suggestions?

Ever since I updated firefox, my cpu is almost at 100%. With only 2 or 3 tabs open. I updated from version 106.0.2 to 112.0.2. Before this update, I could have several tabs open, up to 10 and the computer would run fine. Now with 3 tabs open, it gets really slow. And I can hear my desktop suffering (the fans go to full speed). When checking the task manager, firefox is taking all the memory and the cpu usage is almost at 100%. I have to keep restarting firefox.

The conditions are the same. The only thing that changes was updating firefox. I already searched for ways to reduce the firefox cpu usage, but nothing changed.

Is there a way to fix this? Or how can I go back to an older version of firefox? Because I'm afraid my computer will die from simply opening 3 tabs.

after the last update, the keyboard shortcut shift+esc opens the processes menu. i would like to disable it - this is the same shortcut that i frequently need to use on a specific website, and needing to close the processes menu every time is deeply annoying

Anyone know if it's possible to get the microphone button to appear in the google.co.uk search field as it does on Chrome and Edge?
