I have used Firefox for a number of years and recently am having issues. I am not sure at this point if it is Firefox or Yahoo. I use Yahoo as my home page and my e-mail address. It keeps signing me out and then I cannot sign in without restarting the computer sometimes more than once. When Yahoo loads, it doesn't load the pictures, etc. that are normally to the left of the story headline. Facebook is the same way. I do have some add ons from Firefox and not sure if one of them is causing an issue. I cannot even talk to Yahoo as they will only help if you have a paid account - which I do not. I play some games on line and issues with those also. I really do not want to use Edge or anything else. I really like Firefox, but not sure what is going on. I have not changed any of my settings. Can someone please help me?

Suddenly, I can no longer highlight on my PDFs. This occurred within the last month. It is either because of an update you did, or because I clicked on "Edit PDFs", which I don't really need anyway. But I do need to highlight existing PDFs. Please help.

I'm emailing to you today about latest Firefox browser version 111.0 that was upgraded over March 17-19 weekend from previous version 110.0 or before. It caused PhotoEphemeris in difficult position on login issues as I could not login successfully.

I tried on different browser named Google, PhotoEphemeris will be able to login.

I may suspect new Firefox version 111.0 is the culprit for PhotoEphemeris login issue. If you roll back to 110 or previous version, PhotoEphemeris will work well including login. The website is www.photoephemeris.com

For reasons I have been unable to determine, FireFox is partially loading Amazon and Netflix and freezing. The mouse will work on closing the browser but will not click on videos or reload the tab. It's inconsistent. Sometimes working without a problem. Sometimes freezing when I first switch on the computer. I've tried everything. System maintenance doesn't help. FireFox uses so much memory, it's difficult at times to get into the Task Manager to assess what's going on.

(Memory note. This computer is primarily used for Amazon Prime, Netflix and YouTube. Sometimes Peacock.)

Trying to sync potentially added a glitch where I can no longer delete history and have to manually delete. (When I found it the other computer, it said/showed it had been clearing history. But I had manually delete several months.)

Refreshing has no effect.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall but it reinstalled the exact same set-up without a few pinned links on the new window start up page.

After the most recent update I can't get in to any of my Yahoo Mail accounts. I get a page that says:

The page isn’t redirecting properly

An error occurred during a connection to mail.yahoo.com.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I can log into my Yahoo accounts without a problem, only mail is broken. It works fine in MS Edge. I've cleared the cache and cookies and restarted both the Firefox Browser (ver 111.0) and Windows (11 Pro ver 10.0.22621).

Hi, I use the Firefox Developer Edition for Windows Desktop (112.0b4 (64-bit) on daily basis. When I play the Udemy DRM content nothing goes wrong first and the browser loads the page well. But after some time passed I see that Firefox stops to load the page and the tab spinning infinitely. Pressing the realod button doesn't help. The only solution is to restart the browser. I use no-proxy setting. The refreshing of the browser didn't help either. I have configured the following options in the "about:config" but it didn't help as well: network.dns.disableIPv6 : true network.dns.disablePrefetch : true network.http.http3.enabled: false

My Firefox was updated last night to v111.0 and, when I logged on this morning, a site that I have used daily for several months did not connect bacause of a potential security issue. The site is one of the Cher French Archives (www.archives18.fr) and the error code is MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT. Per your instructions, I should be able to "Accept the Risk and Continue" on the ADVANCED page. However, that option is not available when I jump to the ADVANCED page. Please help! This is a valid site.

Since last update I can't open email with the mail in Firefox. Says it is being redirected...please help

I can view the barnes and noble website but cannot log into my account. Upon entering my login and password, I receive the following error message:"An unexpected error has occurred. Please refresh your page and try again. If this problem persists, please contact customer support." I have contacted B&N support and been told the problem is not on their end and to use a different browser because the issue "must" be a Firefox issue.

When playing videos in Firefox (on YouTube and other websites), the video is consistently delayed by about a second.

-This issue is NOT present in Chrome -This issue is present on both my PCs, both running the latest version of Windows 11 and Firefox -I've cleared my cache and cookies and reinstalled Firefox with no change -I've applied the recommended settings from this article with no change.

Note that the AUDIO appears to be in sync, the VIDEO lags for a bit and then remains noticeably behind the audio. Any advice would be appreciated.

With the latest update of MS edge, it's usurped my default browser (Firefox) and now all standard solutions (i.e. setting Default apps in Windows 11, using "open always as", etc.) are now 100% non functional.

Several times a day, for no apparent reason, the Firefox window will go blank, as shown in the attached screenshots. It goes back to normal seemingly when I move my cursor. More rarely, when this happens, I get a Windows notification with the message "Application firefox.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware". I suspect the two things are related.

My graphics card might be relevant; it's an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER.

Hello, so i have a hp laptop running on windows 11. I have 2 different wifi sources here at my home, one of them is a DSL zyxel modem from century link & the other is a Verizon internet gateway that runs off of cell towers. I recently logged into both of them to configure some of the settings etc. and in the past when i only had the DSL wifi, i would log into it via file explorer>network>network interface and then select the router & would automatically be taken to the login page. For the verizon wifi, i had to go into the browser searchbar ,while being connected to that network, and enter the default IP address of 192.168.0.1 and it would take me to the login page. I first logged into the DSL network and then for the first time ever, into the verizon one, and now when i try to login to the DSL network via my traditional method & also by inputting its IP address into the searchbar (both routers have the same default address to access setup), it takes me to the verizon login page regardless if im connected to it or not. If i input the DSL modems IP address into Edge browser while connected to it, it takes me to the correct login page for that network which leads me to believe that somehow something is messed up with my firefox browser. Ive already tried going into the saved passwords and deleting the saved verizon login info. Any other ideas as to what it could be? Thanks, JD

Why do I have to keep signing into my accounts, such as Google, Facebook and Youtube...plus others each week when I go back to the accounts. New, since November 2022, computer and for weeks this doesn't happen, but then each week I have to go through security to get into my account.

With the latest update, the scroll bar is too wide (1/2"-1") and I can't find a way to change it. It only happens in Firefox. All other programs and browsers are normal. I have tried going to "regedit' to change it, but it doesn't affect it at all. It's making Firefox almost unusable.

When using the Firefox built-in PDF viewer/editor, is there a way to check a checkbox neatly?

When Firefox 111.0 came up today (3/16/2023) (system is Windows 11), it displayed a message that the user can edit PDFs directly in Firefox. It provided a sample document to practice on. The sample document contains checkboxes. There are tools at the right end of a toolbar above the document, but none of them seem to apply to checkboxes.

A user could select the pencil tool and draw a checkmark with the mouse, but it is hard to do this neatly.

The facility I am thinking of would correspond to going into Fill & Sign under Adobe Acrobat and selecting the checkmark tool.

Note: The article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox-or-choose-another-viewer gives instructions for using the Firefox built-in PDF viewer and editor, but it does not mention this point.

Hi--is there a way to do this? My boyfriend accidentally deleted all my Firefox bookmarks last fall (hundreds), then restored the last backup from July, which he said for some reason was a lot larger than the most recent backup he saw, from October. (I hadn't deleted *that* many bookmarks between those two times, plus I had continued adding more, so I have no idea why the October file was so much smaller. Also, incidentally, I have no idea why there were no backups listed from the last one in July to the first one in October. I'm always actively adding and deleting bookmarks.) However, I made a ton of edits and additions to my bookmarks from July to October that I'd like to at least be able to access. I know I probably can't merge them with my current ones, but I'd at least like to be able to add them to what I have. I assume that if I could import these, they would appear in a separate folder, right? Thanks!

I know I can right click on a Tab and pin it to the tab bar as a no text tab. My question is can I pin it to my windows taskbar? Reasons for asking. I want to know when new messages are posted to a bulletin board site. The pinned tab shows the number of new messages but that only works when my browser if open. I would really like it to work when my browser is not open Suggestions?

Hi guys, I have been having a problem with Yahoo for at least a month now. When I first try to access my Yahoo home page it either won't open at all or it hangs at random points when opening, this also occurs when I have actually managed to open my homepage and want to open my mailbox. I am using the www.uk.yahoo.com address on a 1GB connection. When I open the same site on any other browser it opens immediately. Bizarrely the longer I am online and accessing the page it gets better as time goes on. Can anyone shed any light on this please?
