Hi all,

After the last update the former Mozilla Test Pilot "Snooze Tabs" isn't working for me any more, I tell a tab to snooze and it just stays where it is. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/snoozetabs/

I've tried running with addons disabled and then running with addons active again and the behaviour is the same. It's the same behaviour whether I run from the toolbar or the context menu.

I'm presuming this problem is related to Firefox update mechanics. Any suggestions for how to get this working again please?

I'm reposting a question already opened here because a moderator suggested to do so. Actually I though I was posting to the international forum from the URL...

I was trying to access a local HTTPS website of an embedded device (a Siemens S7-1500 PLC) that is using a self-signed certificate, but was unable to go on (attached image #1, in Italian language) due to the the SEC_ERROR_REUSED_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL error. I've browsed a similar PLC webserver in the past, so the fact that the device exposes a similar certificate serial number is not so strange for me, considering also it's self-signed.

The problem is that I cannot follow the instructions of the Mozilla knowledgebase here because I'm not able to identify the correct certificate of the website!

In the attached image #2 you can see that the connection is detected as not encrypted, I suppose because only the form part of the HTML that is posting the data using HTTPS while the rest is using HTTP, but I'm not sure. If I click on the padlock icon (attached image #3) the info about the current certificate is not displayed.

Then I went into Tools > Options and searched for "certificates"; as you can see in the attached images #4 and #5, neither in the Servers tab nor in the Authorities tab I can find any item that is related to 192.168.10.2 (the webserver IP address) or Siemens (the embedded device manufacturer). But unfortunately the error persist! Initially there was a 192.168.10.2:443 line in the Servers tab and I removed it and restarted Firefox, but it didn't solve, so at the moment the situation is the one depicted by the attachments.

I had to use Microsoft Edge to access the website, but I would like to solve this issue and use Firefox instead. Is there anything else I can do to bypass the error? Why doesn't the error page provide a way to correctly identify the wrong certificate using its fingerprint and/or name? Or, maybe, is there a way to disable this check for local IP addresses or for items in a whitelist?

with the last and now the most recent Facebook versions i ahve beem having problems with Facebook, now it may be Facebook but i have it more on Firefox even with extentions shut off i get i what is it please help

Firefox runs some sites slows on one of my Windows 10 computers.

I'm running Firefox on 4 Windows PCs and 3 of the 4 work just fine using the same synced profile.

Fidelity.com and Amazon.com are 2 of the sites that are very slow to load. They will eventually load, but clicking on any links causes another slow load.

The same web sites are fast when I use MS Edge.

Troubleshooting steps I've taken (none of which have worked):

• Refreshed Firefox
• Created a new profile
• Uninstalled Firefox leaving my old profile
• Completely uninstalled Firefox and deleted my profile

Any thoughts on troubleshooting steps to take?

Both Mozilla products spontaneusly disappeared from my computer. Firefox requested a reinstall, and all was recovered. Firefox completely disappeared, and I had to restore from backups. I am seriously worried. What is going on?

Signing into Netflix it only requires my email address. Then it gives me a message that captcha is required, then gives me an error message, then puts me through to my account. Anyone in the world using your browser and my email address can access my account.

When I search for something it shows up in English, but some text under the result is French as shown in the picture. I use latest Firefox with Google search engine, and I have all settings in Google set to English, And same for Firefox settings

Hello brothers and sisters, i am need help! I'm experiencing performance issues when surfing the 9GAG website. The amount of RAM consumed by this page is growing exponentially. It's gotten to the point where this tab can consume up to 5GB of memory, and that's not the limit. This issue hasn't happened before. I can't figure out what's causing it.

What I did to fix the problem: I reinstalled the browser. I reinstalled add-ons. I reset my old profile, saving only bookmarks and passwords. I reinstalled the operating system. None of this helped. However, my friends don't have this problem with this site. Please help.

I tried to remove the new 'profile'. I don't want it. now ALL my data, settings & bookmarks are GONE ! Help me revert to & restore the previous account settings !!!!!

In the menu for choosing which tab to add to a split view, tabs with the name/link of the original do not show up. I would like this fixed, although this is really only a minor inconvenience when duplicating a tab to put it into split view.

Halfway through today I'm unableto access three sites which I use regularly.using a VPN: 1337X.TO EZTVX.TO THEPIRATEBAY.ORG

Getting the error message:

An error occurred during a connection to thepiratebay.org. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

I am able to access THEPIRATEBAY.ORG with Opera <ptooh> so the site itself obviously doesn't have a problem.

I've tried changng my VPN location from the UK to Amsterdam, NL and to Washington, USA but none of those locations have helped.

My wife needsher daily fix of American soaps and Police dramas which never get to us here in the UK

How can I get around this, I really don't want to go down the TOR route unless I absolutely have to.

I'm unable to download any of my Intel updates. I've turned everything off that I know could be blocking it and authorized Intel as a safe download. I don't know what else I can do please help. Google states that I should be able to go to the shield and the address bar and turn off the enhanced tracking protection however it will not allow. I've gone to the settings page and set it to custom as well as clear all check marks in that setting. Still nothing will not allow me to download my updates for my Intel drivers. Please help

Using firefox 140.6.0esr on Windows 10 with noScript and uBlock Origin

Infrastructure for my health insurance provider website uses a self-signed certificate. The infra has a different URL from the main page and was initially failing with "CORS failed", which turned out to be the cert issue.

I copied the infra URL from the dev tools network log and opened it directly, and accepted the invalid cert. I can see the new exception in cert_override.txt.

Then, after unblocking the site in uBlock origin, POST and GET requests to the infra URL succeed, but OPTIONS requests are still failing with "CORS failed", and security status "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER"

Is there anything else I can do so the OPTIONS request honors the exception in cert_override.txt?

I frequently need to access logs in HTML format from a particular application. I find Firefox more comfortable for this, so I visit the parent path directly in the browser. However, the default sort order is by name; since these are logs, it's more useful for me to list them by last modified time. Is it possible to make this sort order the default when visiting file:// paths?

I get REAL tired by the amount of resources Firefox eats up with each open window. For whatever reason, having multiple windows open prevents Facebook from loading. I'll get 1 story and a "shorts" bar but THAT'S IT. Even clicking the story to rate or comment does nothing. If I start to delete windows; it will decrease the memory usage and then it will open.

However, I DO NOT WANT TO CLOSE MY WINDOWS IN ORDER TO OPEN FACEBOOK! Firefox should not be eating up that many resources. The open windows are of text and/or picture archives. There is no sound or video playing in the multiple windows open. My system literally has 128 gigs of ram memory so it seems very odd to me that Firefox is using between 11-13% with nothing running in the 15 windows I have open.
