Dear Anyone.

I've got Firefox 125.0.3 - but ALL Firefoxes have ALWAYS done this!

I've got 12 gig RAM. I've been browsing for - say - a couple of hours or so, I look at how much RAM I've got spare and it's down to about 2 gig. So I close Firefox via Task Manager and all my RAM comes back. Then I REOPEN Firefox and all the old tabs are restored - but this time around, hardly using any memory! Which tells me the hewge memory munch was unnecessary the time before.

Firefox has ALWAYS done this from day 1. Nobody's ever fixed it, through all these updates. I've got the latest version and it's STILL memory-munching. How do you stop it? It's just annoying because you can be using other software that crashes because it runs out of memory, because Firefox has munched all its memory for no reason.

This is just a question, I'm Asperger's, I sometimes sound like I'm asking a leading/angry question but I'm not. (Not this time anyway!) Is there a workaround for this memory-munching problem, is it ever going to be fixed or is it too deeply embedded into Firefox's programming TO be fixed?

I am using the latest version of firefox nightly. I notice this on another PC that shares the same profile. However one of my PCs doesn't take this long and it uses the same profile as well. It also seems that the pinned tabs are not loading correctly because I get errors with those pages too.

Instagram page won't load. Doesn't load in Edge either. The proxy setting is off. It was loading yesterday, then today it won't. No malware detected by Mcafee or Spyhunter. My account is working fine from my phone.

My sign-in ID is aaaan email that has been cancelled. As long as they don't asl me to retrieve any codes oranything it works of course. If anything is sent to that email I can not retrieve it. Usually kepping me out of Fire fox. I need to see if amyonr know how to change your sign-in ID>

when i amon a webpage& click to go to home screen takes about 10 minutes & i have hi speed inernet & th slide bar on side dont go to top when changing pages getting worse please fix it

I'm having trouble using my bank's website. Sometimes I can't log on (error messages) or I can log on and can't use certain features. The bank is Regions. The site works with other browsers. Is there some setting on the latest Firefox that needs to be adjusted? The articles I've read don't help. Thanks.

I'm currently on a very old version of Firefox simply because the new versions, each time I try the latest versions, seem to not have the function the old one has. Remembering the websites I put into the address bar. The version I am currently using did have a issue with shuffling the order of the sites based on 'use' but setting Firefox to Private mode kept the websites locked in order and did not make them shuffle if one was clicked more often than another. Is this something I can do on the current version because I tried and looked for a way to do this recently but I kept getting 'autofill' results from google when I just want to be in Private mode, have the websites I frequent be the only ones listed when I click the address bar and not have them shuffle or have any other website I'd type into the bar not add itself to the list. If this is or isn't possible let me know.

When switching from one tab to another, streaming stops and video won't play in background. I've tried all the main fixes suggested I've found. Nothing worked. Please help! Will be using alternate browser until fixed as it's too unwieldy for me to use this way.

So for some reason I have two versions of Firefox on my computer (Windows 64 bit), I am logged in and using one of them, and the other is just there. I could log in there but I don't want to, I just want to get rid of it. Links from Telegram open in it, creating a second Firefox window instead of opening in another tab in the already open Firefox window, which is very inconvenient. The windows list of programs which can be uninstalled only has one Firefox (I've tried deleting and reinstalling, it doesn't help). But when I try to choose a default browser I get 2 icons to choose from which look the same (see screenshot). What the heck? How do I manage this!

Every time I sign onto Firefox I get the attached message. I think that uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling "may" resolve the problem, but Firefox won't uninstall. I have tried four different ways and it won't uninstall. Can you help me an uninstall process?

i am currently at a loss.

I have set up Passkeys for my google accounts. Now i have completely reinstalled my current pc and now there is no QR code showing when trying to log in.

I have another laptop where it will start completely normal. I can switch between a hardwarekey and another system (to show qr code)

Can you help me with this? I cant seem to understand why it is working on my laptop but not on my desktop. I just cant switch to log on with another device, now it is not even giving me the option to log on with a hardware key.

I would appreciate help.

New tab opens to blank page and not my home page, which is Google. I have been to setting and went to the drop down box for tab settings but it only gives me an option to make firefox my home page or a blank page. I want Google to be what appears in my new tab when I click on the little + isgn.

To check my icloud email, I log into icloud.com, enter my password, got through a two step authorization process and ask to stay signed in. I successfully access my email messages. When opening a message that has a hyperlink, I lose the iclolud connection. The link opens in a new browser window, but when i return to the email I am frequently signed out. Apple support does not know what the issue is; they suggested a different browser. This does not seem to happen with Microsoft Edge - and I don't want to use it.

Some years ago I had to replace my PC and thought - Wonderful - just use sync to bring back all my tabs etc into the new PC...

The long and the short of it (in the past), was that Firefox decided that the new PC was the one to be synchronising source, and promptly removed all the apps/tabs etc. so sync was in line with the new PC - erasing all the app data. I understand there is no 'Master' sync account.

The question is, how can I stop Firefox initially migrating the Firefox app data in the wrong direction? I know that the app/tab data is currently still correct as my laptop still has all my apps etc. Is there some way to stop Firefox thinking the latest clean browser on the new PC has the correct (None) apps etc? Has the laptop to be logged-in and currently on-line before starting the new PC with Firefox? Is there a process to follow with a new 'un-synced' PC?

Sorry if I'm making things sound difficult, but don't want to loose everything which is currently correct and still these within sync data. It's maybe something that can't happen in these later versions of Firefox, but I want to be sure before logging in my new 'Blank' PC.

I'm about to give up on Firefox.

While Firefox is the browser of my choice, its bugs are a constant source of frustration. When navigating on YouTube, I'll suddenly have it stop loading properly and just load more or less blank. You can see this in the image attached. To rectify this problem, I'll need to quit Firefox completely and run a cleaner (WiseCleaner, in my instance) so that it loads correctly again. This happens across several computers I have.

As I game, I usually dual-monitor to watch things on YouTube or Twitch simultaneously. When watching Twitch with Firefox, I noticed that the video would stutter or freeze while the audio continued. I checked Task Manager and found CPU usage to be extremely high. I cannot recreate this problem now as my second monitor is in the repair shop.

Firefox is one of the only few alternatives to a Chromium-based browser. As I don't like Google policies on ad-blockers, tracking, and so on, I'd like to stay away from anything Chromium-based. But it's becoming increasingly difficult to do so, as the user experience in Firefox is so bad, especially when using YouTube, one of my main browsing activities.

I tried turning off hardware acceleration, but this did nothing. I've reinstalled Firefox, but as this happens across several unconnected browsers, I cannot think this is a local problem. What to do?

i recently lost some data i want to get back, and this may be my last attempt, but is it by any chance stored here? and if it is, how do i transfer it back to my regular cache/cookies/data/bookmark folders

Your help utility needs help. -results don't show date, must open each item. Results seem to not be listed in date order. What a mess to sort through. I can't select a desired date range, or select by release version number. -your search tool isn't very effective, I keep getting unrelated results. I do better by searching google to find the help I want regarding Firefox.

On every new release of an update for Firefox, the update process deletes all of my saved cookies that I have established an exception for. I do this so that I don't have to continually enter my user name and password for sites that I visit regularly. The developers must change the updates so that the exceptions carryover to the new version of Firefox.

Dear All

We have recently found out that Firefox doesn't sync with Google My Business listings as when you search for “Saffery Geneva” on Firefox it brings up “Saffery Champness SA”, while on Google it correctly appears as Saffery (Suisse) SA as per attached print screen.

Any idea why Firefox is not syncing with Google with respect to this listing?
