How do I pin the header at the top of the window? It all of a sudden went into hide mode, only showing up if I mouse over it, then it makes the screen content jump down. Very annoying. I must have hit a key code I don't know or they updated or something...

Hello all, I regularly open up pop up windows to do my job, containing lots of column data. Until recently, the columns would squeeze down as small as they could - depending on data field and font size - meaning the bottom scroll bar was unnecessary. However, in last 1-2 weeks(?) the data columns seem happy to spread themselves out menaing I always have to scroll right to see the last few columns. Is there anything like a 'make the columns fit if they're capable of doing' command/shortcut? Thanks all.

I have turned on Hide pointer while typing in Mouse Properties, see pic. It works in Notepad, but not in Firefox.

Mouse Properties can be accessed from Windows Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mouse. Here click on Additional mouse settings.

I'm a web designer, trying to move away from Chrome because of privacy/security issues. I'm also 63 years old. My eyes are old. The text size on the tabs and bookmarks is very difficult to read. I don't want to increase the size of everything else - ***just the tab and bookmark text***. I've tried the fix seen elsewhere in the community for this question, but that doesn't change the size at all. If I increase the size, say by Zoom, that's a problem with my page layout. Can anyone help, please?

does the firefox for windows have touchpad gestures for forward and backward like chrome and edge, and if it does, is there a way to enable them. this is the only feature in edge that is preventing me from switching to firefox.

How can I email the link for a webpage I am on to someone? There used to be three little dots immediately to the left of the bookmark star on the page address that I could right click and easily send the page link with. Now it appears to have disappeared (6/15/2021). Help!

I just updated Firefox to the newest version. I'm a little miffed though that I can't seem to get rid of the "overflow menu" or otherwise hide it. I like a VERY minimalist setup to maximize web page view. On previous versions you could remove all add-ons/menu buttons and the extra space or "overflow menu would disappear. Now that doesn't seem to be the case. So now I have this annoying blank space I don't need. Otherwise I love the look of the new update. Just this is a bit confounding.

A while ago a new thing started happening with Firefox. Whenever I go to a login page, and the username and password fields are auto populated because Firefox has remembered them, the cursor is positioned at the end of the username. Directly beneath the cursor is what looks like a droplet, blue in colour. Clicking on it does nothing. Clicking anywhere else on the page makes the droplet disappear, as does bringing up another app and then coming back to Firefox. I am using version 93.0 64 bit on Windows 10. I can't do a screen shot of it as bringing up snip and sketch causes it to disappear.

I have two windows of Firefox 94 for Linux next to each other, each with its own user profile. It would be very handy if I could drag and drop tabs and items in the bookmarks toolbar from one profile into the other. Apparently this does not work out for me. Am I missing some tip/trick?

It is possible to transfer tabs by drag and drop when both windows belong to the same user. Handy. Obviously the two windows share the same bookmarks toolbar, so the point of transferring makes no sense for the bookmark toolbar.

If that cross-profile transfer is not possible, it is definitely a feature request. This would help greatly in merging piecemeal the bookmarks of two users. Say, to separate private and work bookmarks from time to time.

Hi anyone.. Not long ago I've switched from Google Chrome to Firefox as my default browser and I'm so happy about that.. Still I don't know all the functions Firefox has and I need your help please.. What I'm trying to do is to find the way to see and use on my pc all collections I set up on the Firefox app I have on my mobile.. it's a very useful function and I use it very much on my mobile phone.. all pages I need to save for future reference are saved into a specific collection I created.. I have a collection for anything interest me, for my job and also for personal life.. The point is that I cannot find those collections on my pc.. where are they???? The sync is working well, if I just bookmark a web page on my pc I can suddenly see it on my mobile phone and it also works the way round.. but collections are visible on mobile only...I cannot find them on pc..can you tell me where they are please? This is only a problem when navigating within a page, as if the link is opened in a new page, closing the new page returns you to your original spot in the original page.
