I can not seem to find the button to open a saved, closed tab group. I have googled, and there seems to be a lot of people with the same issue. However, None of the information given under those forums provides me with a clear, easy solution. Please help.

I really can't add to my Summary other than it's a fairly recent issue, started in May 2026, possible April. About.config is set to False. I hope some has a solution - it happens when I'm dealing with live incidents.

I have lots (~100) of tabs open, distributed among windows and virtual desktops. Every now and then the laptop fan starts running wildly, and I identify a CPU hogging webpage in about:processes. How can I now switch to the open window/tab of that webpage to close or unload it? I would expect a click (or context menu item) within about:processes to bring me there. Currently I have to scan through all desktops/windows/tabs to find the page.

good afternoon! if i close browser, then reopen it i see blank tab. But in my settings checkbox turn on (screenshot 3). How resolve this problem?

Contributor note: The screenshot shows the "Open previous windows and tabs" setting enabled.

Before the update, I could use "cmd+shift+[number]" to open a new container tab. Now, nothing works. "cmd+t" opens a tab with "no container", which is completely different.

I already tried going to "about:keyboard", but opening a new container tab isn't even listed as an option.

I often accidentally CLOSE my Firefox browser. I DO NOT get the OPTION to click on & open "all previous OPEN TABS"! Only one tab at a time & I am not going back five times! HELP?!!! Thank You!!

If I have a window open and open a new window without remembering to ask for a new window it overwrites the existing window. How to make it automatically open a new window?

I realized today that my tab groups were all gone and I believe it is because I erased all of my search history about a week ago. Unfortunately I did not realize that clearing my search history would irrecoverably delete my tab groups, and I think it would not be intuitive for many other people either.

Ideally I would like to see a specific option to keep or erase tab groups when clearing search history but in the absence of that I think at least having a warning that you will lose your tab groups if you follow through would be very nice.

Please can you (a) add to menus, or create a button, so users can see the tab groups they have created and (b) prevent upgrades to Firefox from deleting a user's tab groups.

I started using a tab group to organize my tabs and save it. I was able to open it from the overflow menu before but now there is no trace of it there. Surely there is a way to see the history of tab groups and recover it right...

The recent update changed how the mute button works in Firefox, before it would replace the icon and would show text and whatnot if it was muted or wanted to autoplay; now it just always shows the mute/unmute button in a tab playing audio. This would normally be fine but it is causing my tabs to constantly be shrinking and expanding whenever the audio changes in a tab, and it's really frustrating me and it feels like an overall far worse user interface design than it was before, even if people were complaining about it. Is there some sort of middle ground where I can set a maximum tab size or something? I know this used to be a feature in about:config but it doesn't exist anymore for some reason. I've also tried using a userChrome CSS code for it that I found online; it got rid of the button but it still made the tab size change and the code I tried using for maximum tab size also didn't affect that. Really starting to frustrate me! Please give me any advice I feel like I've exhausted all my options lol
