Hello, I reinstalled win 10 on my pc and Wien i logged back into my account sync is working but no passwords, adds, bookmarks are loaded, so I have the most important question, what am I supposed to do? Thanks

so i signed into my firefox account on a new computer and every time i hit the sync now button it brings a pop up for half a second then it disappears and no changes happen to my bookmarks or any of my other synced data.looked through the forums could not find anything that was even similar to my problem

I have just completed migrating my files and settings from my (not so) old windows 10 desktop computer to my windows 11 laptop. Everything seems to have gone ok, except that the Firefox bookmarks were installed and only work in the private browsing window. When I start Firefox normally, the window that opens does not have the bookmarks, and even if I enter a web address manually in this window, it will not connect. I can choose "New window" in the drop down menu and that window will have the bookmarks, but still will not connect. The only way to get the bookmarks and also be able to connect to the internet is to choose "New private window" from the drop down menu. The problem with that is that there have been occasions when I have had a need to examine my browsing history, which I can't do since Firefox doesn't save the history when in private window mode. I have tried the procedure to sync bookmarks, history, etc., but the procedure is somewhat confusing and didn't work for me. Can you simplify the procedure for me? Thanks, John Blakley

so I did a factory data reset of my s22 Plus last week and I just tried to send it a tab from my Mac to my phone which doesn't work but it works the other way. The device was still signed into my account I signed it out sign it back in from the phone and every time I try to scan the QR code to connect another device from the QR code scanner in the search bar of the Firefox browser it keeps saying that I need to use like another app because it thinks it thinks I'm using the phones camera I'm not quite sure where to go from here

Anybody else having issues with this feature? It had been working well to send tabs from my tablet and phone to my desktop computer, which I have been doing due to the lame way that FF uses for filing bookmarks into folders on the mobile devices.

A few days ago I started seeing "unable to send" popping up after a delay, instead of "tab sent" which typically appears immediately. Sometimes, the tab is sent even though it says it wasn't and sometimes it will send it after repeated attempts, and other times it doesn't. My wireless network and ISP connection are high speed and reliable.

So far, the problem only appears when trying to send from mobile to desktop. Sending from the desktop to mobile seems to work fine. The problem started while using 147.0.4 and persists after upgrading to 148.

Need to sync mobile and desktop with Firefox already installed using different email ID. Since new smartphone, thought it was safer. But unable to sync. Do I install new Firefox on mobile? Will I lose some saved sites on mobile?

I recently refreshed Firefox. When I re-opened the program, I was logged out. I successfully logged back in, but despite saying I'm "synced", none of my settings (themes, passwords, bookmarks, etc.) are showing up, even after waiting 30 minutes. Typically sync has taken a few seconds for me. FYI, this is on my work computer and I don't have administrator access, so I would prefer a solution (if possible) that does not require an uninstallation or installation (which I cannot do without contacting an administrator). I recently reset my laptop, when I logged into my mozilla account on my firefox, it is hasn't synced my passwords, hisotry, bookmarks and extensions. The sync is on, I've eevn tried to manually initiate sync. Did not work.

Firefox won't sync anything since a while back, maybe since two months back, I am unable to force sync. Clearing cashe, uninstalling the app, relogging both phone and pc, neither of these syncs bookmarks across the devices. I am able to send tabs in-between the devices. Biggest issue is I can't save bookmarks on one device and expect them to be available on my other device Nokia 7.2

Hello, when I first switched from google chrome to Firefox I could not figure out how to create one browser with two profiles like I had with chrome. So I went to about:profiles and created two separate browsers not realizing you all had an option to create two profiles under one browser. I finally figured out how to have to profiles under one browser by going here https://www.tech2geek.net/how-to-use-the-new-updated-profile-manager-in-firefox-2025/#google_vignette but I can not figure out how to sync the google chrome profile that I had previously to this new profile under the same browser. How do I sync this? I hit sync and nothing changed. I am signed in and I can not figure out how to get the browser profile to sync with this new profile under one browser. I really hate how Firefox named both of these Profiles because it is extremely hard to explain this situation.

Hey, I am trying to synchronize my mobile tabs with my desktop app. Unfortunately, this is not working. I am using the latest version of Firefox and Windows 10. Any ideas how and if I can solve this problem? Thank you in advance.

I hope you can assist me with an urgent issue. After reinstalling Windows on my PC, I lost access to my Firefox Sync data, which includes years of bookmarks, saved passwords, and browsing history.

Before formatting, I had been using Firefox Sync with my Firefox Account (sometimes signed in via Google). However, after reinstalling Windows and logging back into Firefox Sync, my data no longer appears. At one point, I saw my account showing activity from just before formatting, but now that is gone as well.

I am worried that my synced data might have been overwritten or lost during this process. Unfortunately, I do not have a local backup of my Firefox profile.

Could you please help me: - Verify if my Firefox Sync data is still stored on your servers. - Assist with recovering my synced data or advise on next steps I can take. - Provide any guidance on preventing data loss in the future.

I am writing to request assistance with recovering my Firefox Sync data.

I recently reset my PC and after reinstalling Firefox and logging back into my Firefox account, my bookmarks and saved passwords are completely gone. I believe the sync may have overwritten the server-side data with an empty local profile after the reset.

Hi, I just started using Zorin 18 os and downloaded Firefox, signed in, but my bookmarks are not there. I've tried sync and that doesn't work. I've also tried the cmd prompt sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozzillateam/ppa and it says not found.

Hi! I recently lost my old laptop and I'm trying to setup my new laptop without a backup. I was logged into my mozilla account on my old browser before I lost it, but I'm not seeing any of my old tabs, bookmarks, and extensions from my old browser syncing to my new browser. Is there anything I can do to retrieve this data without having access to my old laptop? Thank to anyone who can help!

I reinstalled a new win11 and downloded fresh firefox. Sync is not working and I have no previous data to resume working. All tabs and logins are not showing in new firefox. Pls fix the issue.

so i was using my pc (and firefox) normally, when i then turned off the machine as usual.

when i turned my pc on again and opened firefox, everything was gone, i wasn't signed in and all my bookmarks and several home url's were not there, you don't need me to tell you that's not normal.

of course, i followed the most logical course of actions, i signed into my firefox account (from which i am sending this ticket), and expected all my data to magically sync, which it didn't, so i then tried to sync in manually, looking for any backup file on my pc (i couldn't find any, though i can't say i know what one looks like so...)

hopefully this can be fixed because i had auto-sync on and it would be a bummer to lose everything and slowly rebuild my browser ui from the ground up
