Thanks guys for screwing up my day with your latest update. I used to be able to download a .pdf and opening it in my ,pdf reader. I NEED to do this for tax reconciliation purposes. Now your crappy program has decided to open .pdfs in itself and I cant get a downloaded copy any more. What the hell was the programmer thinking? Yes I have gone to Applications and checked that it is set to my .pdf reader. Please fix this before I get fined by the tax office.

To identify myself I had to scan a qr code on a website using my phone. This used to work in firefox but it doesn't anymore. It still works in edge. I'm using firefox 119.0.1 x64 on windows 11 home 22H2. How can I fix this?

My Kaiser website kp.org can't come up...the following error message:

"The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

I get the following error message when I try to open the Firefox homepage. XUL runner Error: Platform version 124.0.2 is not compatible with minVersion >=124.0.1 maxversion <=124.0.1

I am using firefox 120.0 version. I use OneDrive extensively, but now when I open a folder and type my info to search on. It no longer works. I have cleared cache. I have uninstalled/reinstalled. Power off/Power on my system. Confirmed I am using the latest version. The search on OneDrive works in Chrome, but I prefer using Firefox. Any other suggestions I can try?

You somehow have old, outdated information in your system. Your new browser requires me to log into a facebook account I closed 10 years ago. My password for my current account named, "VangiePangie", now opens a closed account named "Evangeline Custis". I no longer have access to my VangiePangie account with any password. So, I no longer want this new upgraded Firefox account. I want to have my old Firefox account as a default on my desktop. Right now it's an icon at the bottom of the screen, and I can only use it to open one thing at a time. Please give me back my old Firefox browser. I'll struggle with Facebook to get my password to work on my VangiePangie account. I have access to the VangiePangie account right now, because it was never logged out in my old Firefox browser and is in my Bookmarks. But if I am forced to log out, or if Facebook does a security check, I won't have access ever again. Please help me with this. Below is my VangiePangie Profile pic.

Hello there,

Today i found that there is a htm file in my Downloads folder which I haven’t download it. The name is 65k7m58G.htm with zero bytes size. I opened it with notepad and is completely empty. I’ve checked my downloads window in FF (ctrl+j) to see where that file downloaded from but it’s nothing there!

Is there any known bug that generates empty htm file in Downloads folder?

by the way I checked my whole system with Eset smart security and everything sounds good.

I want to convert a pdf file that I mistakenly had to generate when I deleted the original file. I want to convert the pdf sheet back to a Word doc so I can edit it.

I'm seeking help because sound is not working on Firefox. All other software are able to produce sound on every speaker and headphones I have. The speaker logo does not appear in tabs were videos or music is playing and firefox doesn't show up in EarTrumpet. It does show in the volume mixer but no bar appears to show it is displaying sound while media is playing.

I'm running : Firefox version 119.0 64 bits Windows 10 64 bits version 22h2, OS build 19045.3570

I've tried :

1. Restarting Firefox
2. Muting/Unmuting Firefox in the volume mixer, in firefox tabs too
3. Downgrading to version 118.02 32 bits
4. Uninstalling all my audio drivers followed by a restart (they got re installed but no change for Firefox)
5. Restarting Firefox with all addons disabled

I'm running out of solutions.

Hi! Since updating Firefox to 98.0 I've been experiencing sudden performance drops(lags/freezes/stutters) while scrolling. `about:support` page shows that compositing is `WebRender`. The issue occurs with fresh profile without any addons installed and also in `firefox-nightly`(100.0a1). However, scrolling is totally smooth in 97.0.2 and earlier versions of Firefox.

What changes in Firefox 98 could cause this, and are there any settings in `about:config` I can try to tune to solve the issue? These are the settings I've always used, and, as I mentioned, scrolling was smooth before 98.0:

gfx.webrender.all = true general.smoothScroll.mouseWheel.durationMaxMS = 400 general.smoothScroll.mouseWheel.durationMinMS = 200 mousewheel.min_line_scroll_amount = 40 mousewheel.system_scroll_override.enabled = false

I have a locked file that shows up as Invalid Symlinks error. I am not sure but I think it may be Profile.ini Here is what I am getting that tells me its a Non-Existent Destination file. My question is why is it Invalid symlink and what can I do to fix it? Hello, I was trying to fix this issue on my browser but I was not able to do it. The OS is Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS 64-bit. Currently, I'm using Firefox version 99.0a1 but I had the same issue on version 97. Also, I have this issue on only one of my PCs. As I said in the subject: - The browser freezes the whole PC and I have to force reboot it. (I already disabled the hardware acceleration) - the recent download item open button does not trigger the opening of the folder. - If I try to download a file, the browser ask me where to save it. But if I try to download another one the browser shows me the directory with path /run/usr/1000/... I tried to delete places.sqlite but I received the same result. ... I'm attaching two screenshots also. Thanks a lot!
