Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? I noticed during a firmware download with the file extension .DAT that Firefox removed the extension. The file was not recognizable during an attempted firmware upgrade afterward. This is a new issue occurring sometime in the past several months, since last firmware update. Firefox preferences are set to download .DAT files. No other settings are listed for that file extension. I verified the issue points toward Firefox by checking the download with another web browser which completed the download with the extension.

When watching something on Youtube and I click on the coloured download icon, I get to be able to click on the title of the video. A blue 1 appears in the download icon. When I click again, then click on the blue 1 to watch the download. Nothing happens. The window just sits there and states 'downloading', but it does not happen. This happened last year and you managed to fix it; now Youtube seem to have blocked downloading again. Geoffrey D Dean, Australia.

Today I tried to place an online order to pickup from Texas Roadhouse, but no matter what time I chose a message said it was not available. The only selection that worked was "Earliest Available Time". Finally I called to place an order. Firefox worked 2 months ago but I don't recall which version I was using at the time.

Today I was using FF vers 97.x and later updated to vers 99.0.1 figuring that might be the problem, but it made no difference.

Later I tried Windows 10 Edge & that worked. Then tried a Chromebook & that also worked.

I've also had problems going to the Tracfone website & so have several other people. It's hit or miss with Firefox & usually it doesn't work. But Chrome or Edge seem to work for everyone.

Is this a website problem or a FF problem?

There has been this odd banner of scripts on certain web pages for a while now and I'm not sure what it is or how to stop it. I don't know what the problem could be.

I'm using Firefox 104.0.2 (64 bit) under Windows 11.

Under Settings I have selected Startup Open Previous Windows and Tabs.

I normally have more than a dozen tabs.

For the past few days, when I start Firefox my previous session is not restored and I just get the single Firefox tab.

When I got to History there is no longer a Restore Previous Session option.

How do I get it back?

I've tried deleting all history, cache settings. Deleting and reinstalling Firefox. Backing up existing profiles and restarting. NOTHING except starting in Troubleshoot (Safe) mode makes a difference:

When I create a file to print in Firefox ( in this case from Etsy ) the preview looks ok but when the file is printed or saved as a PDF then the text parts of the file are ok ... but the images are much too large.

You can see this on the attached images ... how it should look and how its coming out!?

Any help gratefully received :-)

I have a YouTube loading problem, it works on all other browsers except Firefox. When you go to the YouTube homepage, the whole screen is blank with black and grey colours, on the homepage no video loads, no words on the screen, no ads, just blank. it works like normal on Chrome,Opera,Internet Explorer.

I am on windows 8, all blockers are off, on the latest version 115.9.1. no other problems on my PC.

How to add the date of the site listed in History.

As it is there is the sidebar: History, then Name, Tags, Location, and Date but the column is empty, no date appears there.

After setting Firefox as the default browser, every time I search on address, it opens Yahoo website instead of staying with Firefox. What else can I do to stop this from happening?

Almost daily I get an intrusive update notice which is invasive and unacceptable.

If your browser is so flawed that updates are done daily (during most weeks) then you should just plain GIVE UP!

At least have the courtesy and brains to schedule this ever 2 to 4 weeks at most. Stop invading my privacy and get your act together!!!!

Please help me restore my browsing session :(

For the past several months I have been using Mozilla, and the feature to restore previous browsing session has always worked well. Even after I clear the most recent history or remove the most immediate cookies, this feature would still work e.g. after I restart my PC or just restart the browser. It would restore all the tabs I was using previously including the most recent tab I was on before the browser closed or restarted. However, this morning, I tried to clear my immediate browsing history as I usually do and the browser froze while I was in the process of clearing this immediate history (continuously displaying the pop-up window/interface for clearing history and not allowing me to do much else on the browser - I couldn't even click anything on the tab I was on, nor could I navigate to another tab and/or open a new tab; and only the close button, and maximize window button, and minimize window buttons were responding). After waiting for a while for it to start working again, I got frustrated and I closed the browser.

I then opened the browser again, but this time, it didn't restore the previous browsing session and didn't even take me to the last tab I was on.

What could have happened this time around? It has not behaved like that for this whole year.

NB: I have not done anything to the browser after opening it! I am still on the same page it landed on when I opened it (just in case).

I keep getting a 403 error message when trying to access the British Airways website. This is the first time I have encountered this, although it is perhaps 3 years since I last flew BA. I have cleared my cache and cookies. I have also tried to access the same ba.com site using Edge - with the same error message. This suggests that the problem may lie with BA. However, they have no technical support that I can reach. So I do not know what to do next. I use Kaspersky anti-virus and Malwarebytes to screen for malware. Every day while opening the browsing I am getting the below-mentioned error, tried many things like complete reinstallations, and selected default profiles, but nothing worked.

In the past when I saw an article that I wanted to email to myself, I would click on the envelop icon and it would go to “choose and application to open the mail to link” I would choose if I remember correctly Yahoo and it would open up.

Now the only choice I have if Firefox, and when I click on it nothing happens. What is the problem?

Under”Choose other Applications”, there is nothing to forward that article to me.

I have 2 yahoo email accounts. 1 on Chrome & "block Spam" works but on FF it does not. The same fake emails keep coming back and I can't add a screenshot to this.
