Hello,

I have my browser startup settings set to 'open previous windows and tabs' However, every time I start up firefox, it is on the default new window screen rather than my previous tabs. This feels frustrating as I have to reopen the tabs every time.

Would it be possible to fix this?

I am unable to follow instructions for activating Backup in Firefox. I don't even have a Manage Backup button. What I have in its place is:

Restore your data Use a Firefox backup file from another device to restore your data.

Choose backup file...

Hi I just saw the new info on backing up my Firefox data. It sounded good, so I tried it. However I do not see 'Manage Backup'. Instead it asks 'Choose backup file'. I have never knowingly backed up Firefox, so I do not know where this backupfile is located... How can I find it? How do I create a new backup file? Many thanks An

This is a brand new problem, for me. It just started today when using FireFox. On nearly all websites, including Mozilla support, when I click on an embedded link on a site, firefox asks me to select an app to open the https. Even if I tell it to let firefox open all https, it still asks me everytime. to make it better, it still doesn't always let me open the link and I go through the same thing when I click the link again.

This also happens when clicking on the search box in *any* search engine, e.g. Google, Startpage

I've attempted to change all cookie & tracking settings, no help. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

This is making FireFox useless.

I had to use my default browser, Brave, just to submit this question. I only use FireFox for social media accounts, sites I need to link to my sm accounts and the occasional web search. For example, linking my Etsy shop to facebook. When I clicked the link "link to facebook" is when I noticed this problem.

I am trying to create a backup of FireFox for moving from a Windows 10 machine to a new Windows 11 machine. The instructions for creating a backup don't make any sense.

--- Click the main menu, and go to Settings. Select Sync. Scroll down to Backup, and click Manage backup. Choose the location to save the backup file. ---

When I click the Main Menu, go to Settings, Select Sync, there is no Backup listed. If I search for the term "Backup", this is the result: "Sorry! There are no results in Settings for “backup”. Need help? Visit Firefox Support".

Syncing is on, so I am assuming that FireFox is being backup?? Or am I missing something somewhere?

How can I remove the moving blue ball from the tab of a frequently used website? It's distracting and hopefully not symptomatic of a problem It appeared on this new computer/monitor, used to be an icon Thanks, --Laurie

I receive this Error msg trying to access Settings option in the AJC epaper section https://editions.ajc.com/shortcode/AJC412/edition/f117d96a-c78b-4df3-4b6a-0e587f6cfd22 on a Firefox Browser:

Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).

When I open firefox it loads 14 different tabs, if you view it from the task manager in Windows. It only shows one tab, when homepage is opened initially but clearly it's loading more in the background.

I have run the troubleshoot function as well as restart app (within fierfox settings)

I have also emptied the cache

Version 146.01 has me discombobulated. no shortcuts to add on anymore. can I have the previous version with my shortcuts?

I can't open my Gmail in Firefox, my profile in Google Account on the top right Gmail is missing. When I click on this the the account box comes up with the blue line continious running? When I click to open my Gmail the yellow loading box comes on top middle of Gmail
