When is Firefox (across devices) going to bring "Tab Groups" in-built in 2025 as it is difficult to ditch Chrome esp., if it is related to work or research and similar tabs are opened up?

I have to rely on chrome and edge for same and both have not only brought it but improved it considerably. Also, chrome has not brought for mobile devices so grouping of tabs is more easy and simple but when I look at Firefox and Firefox based browsers, I see nothing of that thing present. The addon esp., Simple Tab Groups (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/addon/simple-tab-groups/) is unreliable (see reviews).

If Firefox want us to use their browser and as default, they should see why we are using Chrome and Edge (latter, having vertical tabs in-built, also).

I hope 2025 is a year Firefox learns of how to retain users across devices. Currently Firefox is more from 2005.

I've been using Firefox for several months since switching over when the migration to Manifest V3 in Chrome gained momentum. Initially, Firefox worked flawlessly, but over the past couple of months I've encountered a recurring issue where downloads often fail -- sometimes right at the start and other times midway through -- especially with larger files.

I've encountered this issue across multiple machines, and changing the destination drive where the files are saved hasn't made any difference. Interestingly, the same files download without any issues in Chrome, so I've ended up relying on Chrome exclusively for downloads.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

For several weeks now, whenever I try to log in to a google account, Firefox crashes. The crash happens on the screen where you enter your email address, before the page where you enter your password. I start to enter my email, and about 3 letters in to typing my entire browser freezes. The crash also happens in troubleshooting mode, so I know that it isn't a problem with one of my plug-ins. This isn't an urgent issue, I can get by with the gmail accounts that are already logged in, but it is really annoying.

I often receive a 403 error when using Firefox Every time, before this happens, I get the unsafe website warning and then the 403 error when I continue anyway

I am using the latest version at the time of writing These errors only occur on my desktop PC I have tried to replicate this issue on both my phone (Android) and another laptop(Windows 11) but all the websites work normally on there.

I have tried the following, none of which have any effect:

• Clearing cookies
• using Troubleshoot mode
• Restarting
• Changing Useragent
• Using "Forget about this site"

The following do fix the issue

• Using a VPN
• Using Google Chrome
• Running Firefox in another profile

Going through the privacy and security tab and reseting all the settings sometimes works but only temporarily

I have used Evernote web clipper for years and Firefox says I am still connected, but its icon has disappeared from my menu bar and I have been unable to recover it.

Hello dear community! My firefox keeps crashing when trying to open a tab or close a tab. I can't replicate it since it happens on random tab-closing and tab-opening. I think it's just crashing when doing something like clicking anywhere and NOT when doing nothing while the system is idling. Thank you for your help! firefox changed and firefox nolonger lets me get my email, bank account, fidelity account, credit card account etc -- can you help me go back to my old firefox? thank you or do I need to start using another browser?

When I try to load "Comments" I get this message:

Failed loading comments! Please try again...

Trying again doesn't help.

Whenever i search something on google, firefox desktop (all fine on android) is failing to display the ai(gemini) answer no matter what questions i ask.

Same happens in the "AI Mode" option that is available in google's recent update.

And, I,m logged in.

This started since a week, everything was working fine before that.

When I try to log onto microsoft outlook I get the following message--- Your current User-Agent string appears to be from an automated process--- This has only started today so I can not log onto my account.

When on a web page or e-mail I regularly get a spinning multi colored ball which stops/interrupts the loading of the page. It will last for 3/4/5 seconds and then stop. What's up ??

In past few days twitch on firefox browser started to act strange. Webpage loads without some elements, login window doesnt opens, streams load indefenetely. Tried to clear cash and cookies. Chrome doesnt have such problem.

i'm on windows. Suddenly, PDF files that I open have black pages. I checked that the default setting is to open pdf files in Firefox, as always. refreshing doesnt work. Any ideas what is wrong?

Have an app with a web interface that I used for years, but not with several of the latest versions of FF. Chrome, Edge, and DuckDuckGo all show the page as expected and the page functions properly.

Have tried a large number of things including:

Ping works for ip and hostname, v4 and v6 Confirmed address is accessible through other browsers Disabled extensions Added exceptions in Settings for HTTPS-only mode Various settings in about:config, careful to return them to previous states when they didn't fix the problem Tried Safe Mode (aka Troubleshoot Mode) Refreshed Firefox (as prompted before uninstalling)

My last step is to reinstall, but thought I'd ask here first. Has anyone seen this before?
