I have a phone which is the clone of the Sony X1 Xperia. The picture you get which shows the operating system is of an apple with a byte taken out of it. Anyone know what this operating system is? I see no ID in the menus at all. No place for upgrade or apps. It has functioning web services the show as a world with WWW in the middle of the globe when you start the web services. Any Ideas?

I to not have a smart phone. Would Firefox for Mobile work with the iPad 2 WiFi and/or an iPod Touch (fourth generation)? My home computer is a PC with Windows XP Professional, and I have a router for wireless connection to my iPad 2. I am waiting to buy the iPod Touch with new iOS 6 ("coming soon," according to Apple). Hi - I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this issue I've been having with Android Firefox?

Whenever I press the 'menu' key on my phone while running FF (tried with 16 and beta/17), the application crashes immediately. I briefly see my Android homescreen, then the FF page asking me to submit a crash report to Mozilla. I've done this, of course, and one of the links is attached.

I'm a bit surprised that I have not been able to find any mention on the interwebs about this issue. Perhaps someone can let me know what's going on?

Website automatically downloaded Firefox while I was looking for information. I think full computer version may have downloaded into iPhone5. although website shows App folder for installation process, in the iPhone5 the screen instructions say to open the file with Evernote. Enote says the file is too large to download. No App folder shows on the screen. When i open usual App folder, nothing there. So, Firefox appears downloaded but not installed, I think. How do I get this large file out of my phone? File does not show in the iPhone5 program list, probably because it has not been opened, so the usual delete process will not work. Please help.

I will be typing a password into a website log in, and partway through, the cursor will jump a space to the left, causing the incorrect pword to be put in. This is driving me crazy! And I can't seem to find much out there for support on it. I have galaxy s3 jellybean, Sprint. Also using SwiftKey. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had nothing but problems with your new Sync setup. There are other issues as well.

(1) I was not given the option to "unlink" my old sync in my desktop Firefox. I followed all the instructions and it simply wasn't there.

(2) When I disconnect from Sync, it loses all my sync preferences, including even the Device Name.

(3) After deleting the old sync and setting the new account up on my mobile device, I found that there does not appear to be any option to disable Sync on my mobile device. THAT IS A BAD THING. I HAVE NO USE FOR AN "ALWAYS ON" SYNC. I WANT TO SYNC MANUALLY, AT MY OWN DISCRETION.

(4) There is no feedback showing that either my desktop or mobile device are syncing. This is an egregious oversight. I don't know when I can TURN OFF my sync, because, as I mentioned already, I HAVE NO USE FOR SYNC THAT IS ALWAYS ON. There must be an option to turn it off (which means feedback telling me WHEN I can turn it off), or I will simply do without... which means your new sync is now WORSE than the old one.

(5) The sync settings on my mobile device are grayed out and not available for interaction... and they are the same WRONG, default settings my desktop keeps returning to.

(6) This is really terrible. I would have been better off staying with Firefox 28. Fix this.

In addition to those primary issues, I would also like you to know:

(7) I do not care to be forced to have my refresh button inside the address box. I liked it where I had it before: OUTSIDE the box, next to my back and forward buttons, where it properly belongs. Stop trying to Chrome-ify Firefox. That's just dumb.

(8) While I appreciated the fact that you are trying to save space, having the forward button only appear when it is "necessary" means your interface is moving around, which is generally A Bad Idea.

(9) I object to the removal of the "add-on bar". I used it for holding add-on controls that I do not care to be putting on my upper toolbar. And since there is...

(10) ... no longer any apparent way to add a new toolbar, getting rid of the add-on bar means I now have to put space-consuming add-on controls on my main toolbar, which defeats your entire intent to save space there.

All in all, firefox, I have to say that your "new" version 29 was badly done. Change for the sake of change is not a good thing. In order for change to be a good thing, it has to be BETTER than the old version. This is way worse. Not JUST because I liked it the other way, but because you screwed up a bunch of things that used to work fine.

It has to be better for the user, that is. Not just better for your developers.

As a very long-time user of Firefox: this release really let me down.

I went to my add-ons tab, and I DO, in fact, have two versions of shockwave flash, an 11.9...version, and a 13.9..., which, if I'm not mistaken, is the latest version. There is a "ask to activate, always activate, never activate" button for EVERY add-on. I clicked never activate on the older version, and closed the tab. I then tried to play a video off of the Web. It would not play, I tried another site with the same result, so I went back to my add-on tab, and the button for the older version had changed back to "always activate" by itself. It continues to repeat this, and WILL NOT stay on "never activate". Every few times I return to the add-ons page, THE NEW VERSION IS DISABLED, AS WELL AS THE OLD ONE. I've tried to uninstall the old version, but when I go through control panel, and bring up the folder contents, the old version isn't even there! I've done start, find, and typed in "Adobe", and the old version is NOT FOUND! Both versions keep changing back and forth on the activate button, and they both will disable on their own, no matter how many times I fix it! smh!!

I have downloaded the stub file using both IE & Chrome trying to get firefox to install on my Windows Vista (Mac) and the stub starts but does not complete. I deleted the stub 27.0.1 after downloading the latest one otherwise I would install firefox using the old stub.

Please advise, I upgraded my Mac from windows xp to windows vista, firefox was installed and one of the kids inadvertently removed it when trying to upgrade firefox to the latest version.

When we go online to view pdf versions of statements at our bank's web site we are unable to view anything but a blank Adobe document. We are unable to download the file to our computer so there is no way for us to view the document. We have Mozilla version 29.0.1 and Adobe Reader XI. Is there anything we can do to correct the issue?
