I am sure if you've opened this thread, you are already familiar with the issue: Any time you try to stream Netflix or Prime, your Widevine plug-in you didn't even know you had crashes and you can't watch anything.

It appears to be a known bug, however for a long time now, no fixes.

Please help?

I keep getting a crash notice when I try to watch Hulu that prevents me from playing anything. It says "WidevineCdm plugin has crashed" and gives me an option to reload, but it pops up again when I reload. How do I fix this? If it helps my crash report ID is bp-b9dc86c3-0580-4fb3-b7d3-86b6d0210506

Fortunately, this situation is not happening across all websites, but on those that it does, I haven't been able to find a solution, yet.

As the title suggests, I copy a piece of text/paragraph from said website, and when I paste it in a word processor such as Pages or Text Edit (both Mac apps), the text is aligned to the left. The goal is to be able to paste said text with a justified alignment (predefined on the paragraph of the open document). It used to work flawlessly up until two months ago.

I'm don't know if some Firefox update caused this or maybe some extension might be interfering (I have checked the installed extensions and none of them appear to be the cause, but maybe it is the case). Either way, I've checked the same websites on Chrome and this issue is not happening there, so clearly it's browser related.

Any guidance, tips or help is very appreciated. Thank you.

I am joining the millions...WidevineCDM crashes on all my media streaming options (Netlfix, HBO, etc). I am EXTREMELY tech illiterate and the suggestions so far for this issue are way over my head. Does anyone have any basic solutions? Or a willingness to walk me through what to do step by step? Thanks

I have been having issues with some streaming sites e.g. Netflix, which give me a message at top of the browser that WidevineCDM has crashed (see attached img). Not sure what's going on, as my googling hasn't found anything helpful about how to deal with this. Help would be appreciated!

Something new is happening - there is a slow and very obstructing problem in sending emails - I can receive emails normally but when I try to reply or to send a message, a yellow bar appears telling me there is a huge content slowing my process and asks me to click 'stop' or 'wait' It now takes 15 - 20 minutes to wait to send a message This has never happened before and has been happening for two days now. Please correct this problem. Thank you

Within the last 10 days my wife's computer has been denied access to a number of sites via the Firefox browser and she receives the Insecure Connection message. She uses the work around using the Advanced path button. We are confused why without any changes to her machine this is happening. She is on an iMAC using OS version 10.7.5 and Firefox 48.0.2 and accesses the internet through an internal network, she has Airport installed and is connected to my iMAC which has OS 10.9.5 and Firefox 78.13, and has never had any difficulties accessing sites or with Firefox. We're aware that our OS versions are outdated but all our applications work well and so we see no need to update. We'd appreciate any suggestions and thank you for your help. I used to have a speaker icon on my tabs but it has disappeared. Any idea how to get it back?

Also I lost the "reopen closed tab" function as well.

Please help with either or both of these issues.

Cant Play AmazonPrime videos on my mac desktop (its an admittedly old desktop, cant afford a new one just yet. using Firefox 78.15.0esr (64-bit).

Today, when i tried to watch a videos on Amazon Prime, im getting messages that say "WidevineCdm plugin has crashed" when i try to play.

Is it due to discontinued Flash? Are there any solutions??
