Since the most current Firefox update in June 2022, when in Yahoo Mail and downloading an attachment, as the download complete, the Yahoo Mail tab is automatically closing, requiring I to go to 'History', then 'Recently Closed' tabs to re-open it. This happens Every.Single.Time I download photos and scanned docs from email. Again, this has never happened before - only with the recent Firefox update. I have 2021 a MacBook Pro.

I am trying to print shipping labels from Amazon and a third-party web app running Firefox 103.0 64-bit.

Text prints just fine but images (barcodes, etc) that need to be scaled down do not do so causing them to be truncated on the page.

I have cleared print settings and tried two different printers to no avail. The documents/images print correctly from Chrome. I have tried using the system dialog to print but this also does not correct the issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I currently cannot use Firefox for the essential daily task of printing packing slip / mailing labels.

I can log into my Firefox account on my Macbook Air with my email address and password, I can log into Firefox on my iPhone via pair, but I cannot log into Firefox on my Mac Mini using the same email address and password, the Mac Mini keeps saying my password is incorrect.

I'm running Firefox version 100 on both my Macbook Air and my Mac Mini. The sync feature works fine between my MacBook Air and my iPhone. The Firefox account works excellent between my MB Air and iPhone, but I would like to have my bookmarks, history and passwords synced to my Mac Mini as well.

The "only" way I know how to log into my Firefox account on my Mac Mini is using my email address and password. The same email address and password works fine on my MB Air and iPhone. But when I enter my email address and password on my Mac Mini, I get the "Incorrect password" message. I have carefully re-entered my password several times with no success.

I am concerned about "resetting" my password as the dialogue suggests I may lose my bookmarks, logins, and passwords. I really, really, don't want to do that. Besides, they work fine on my MacBook Air and iPhone.

I don't have a resolution to this issue. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance, Glenn Cooper

Hi! There are multiple recent threads on this issue, and not one of them has a solution, so I'm asking again. I want to increase the font size of the top header text, specifically the bookmarks toolbar, search bar, and tab titles. The text is too small for me to read. It would also be useful if I could increase the font size for the applications menu (the hamburger drop down menu in the far right of the header).

I do not want to increase the size of anything else, so changing layout.css.devPixelsPerPx is not the solution. I have changed my global zoom settings, and set them specifically to "Zoom text only", but this setting does not effect the bookmarks toolbar or the search bar. Changing the default font size also does not increase the size of this text.

Just to clarify again, these threads are not solutions to my question: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1214027 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1293358

I'm have a problem with the setting for label printing since the last update. I know it's firefox because I went on safari and it worked fine. I have tried to go to firefox print setting, it is marked correct, but it's printing label's 10 times the size. on labels and even on letter size paper. I've tried to restart firefox and my computer. I also checked my computer settings, but firefox is overriding any settings. So what is going on firefox????

A few days ago I started having issues with pages printing correctly. The page displays normal, but prints very zoomed in. I did not change any settings before this happened (but I did update recently). I have tinkered with different printing settings (fit to page/scale and others) to try to solve the problem, but I cant seem to solve it. I also used the troubleshooting page to reset print settings, which also did nothing. If I download the page and open it from my desktop everything works like normal, but it is a bit of a pain to do every time. I have tried multiple websites and two different printers, so it seems to be a browser related issue. How do I fix this?

After the most recent update, v.103, any image-based PDF that I print out is extremely oversized despite appearing correctly in the print preview window. I have tested other browsers and did not have this issue. I have also reset my Firefox print preferences and my printers/drivers to ensure it's not that either. Does anyone know what could be causing this, besides an issue with the new update?

I've noticed on a few websites that when I click on "login with Facebook" to log into the website in question, nothing happens. I have turned Enhanced Tracking Protection to "off," and I've cleared cookies on the site. I am using Firefox version 90.0.2

Someone else had this question a three years ago, but that was archived and the protection interface for this version of Firefox has changed, so I appreciate help anyone may be able to offer.

Dear Firefox Community

I’m a Mac user. I’ve been a happy Firefox user for about eight years or more, with few problems. The only main one has been the refusal of Firefox to update automatically, even though I’ve ticked the box in preferences for this to happen so I always have to update by restarting Firefox manually and downloading it again.

I’m currently using Firefox 78.8.0esr. It needs updating, and I’ve tried about six or seven times over the last 6 weeks (most recently to Firefox 90.0.2dmg). Every time I do this, however, Firefox loses memory of me - and all my bookmarks (you’ll understand that after eight years there are a few hundred of these) disappear. I’ve copied them in in various ways (most recently by importing my Firefox bookmarks from 78.8.0 into Safari and then into Firefox 90 - and it works for about 12 hours or so, but then on the second or third time I open it reverts to the bookmarkless screen as if I’m a completely new user (with a really irritating picture of Soraya who is a Firefox fan and presumably is exempt the kind of problems I’m having).

Can you explain what is happening please, and how I can overcome this?

Thanks,

Steve Charters

I was having problems with my home page on Firefox (Google) switching over to Yahoo. Mac support helped me get rid of it--it was malware. But now a tiny red and white button has appeared at the top of my browser. It's a Yahoo file converter. I didn't ask for it and I fear it's malware. How can I get rid of it?

I cannot even get the box below where I say yes to getting email when the question is answered. Twitter is a bunch of boxes and outlines now, and doesn't look at all as Twitter used to look. I have tried turning the Mac on and off. This is a desktop computer.

For some reason - maybe an update - websites and images are no longer loading correctly. I've attached some screenshots (comparing Chrome to Firefox) so you can see the issues.

Please help me get FF back to normal. Its basically useless for now.

Hi volunteers, thank you.

I have been using Firefox for ever - on my macbook air, catalina, usig 91.01.01 Firefox version.

Until last week everything was fine - -then all of a sudden images and icons on some website were not loading properly, if at all. like www.microsoft.com and www.mandalina.com . The images are fine on Safari just not FF.

I erased FF and cleaned everything and uploaded a new browser, same problem.

Have I accidentally done something ?

Thanks
