I have a IP intercom that only works with Firefox 127.0.2 Now Firefox automatically upgrades to the latest version and I'm unable to prevent this. I'm unable to manage my intercom with the latest version. How do I turn off automatic updates.

Everything was normal before the update. When I did the update, the menus changed, the bookmarks disappeared, the new tab key disappeared, how do I get it back to its original state?

Version: 115.16.1esr.

I am sure that this is a 'known issue' but, when I attempted to update the browser just now, it failed and directed me to install it manually.

Is there a time estimate when this glitch will be fixed?

Hi everyone

I used Refresh Firefox option and it created "Old Firefox Data" folder on my desktop.

Awesome stuff. Sadly I cant get rid of it, here is why:

1. At first it said that the folder is used by another program and I cant delete it because of that. Cool, I decided to uninstall Firefox and make a clean install, so I have space to delete the folder too.

2. Long story short, it didnt work. I removed Firefox and tried to delete that folder, but wait for it, yeah I cant because I need permission from MYSELF. Awesome stuff.

3. I decided to use safe mode, so I used run command to run msconfig and I changed it to boot in to safe mode. But wait for it! YES! Its bugged and I cant login in safe mode, because pin is useless and it doesnt give me option to use password, so after hour of various things I got back to my normal mode via CMD commands. THANK YOU MICROSOFT.

4. So now Im stuck with the lovely "Old Firefox Data" folder, which cant be removed normally, neither in safe mode and wait for it! NEITHER WITH ADMIN CMD, not even the takeown /f "Old Firefox Data" /r command. THANK YOU MOZILLA!

So is there someone knowledgeable enough to help me to get rid of that folder pretty please? Like really a lot please.

After last update Firefox ESR 115.23.0 the menu on the website: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/homeis not displayed correctly. Could you fix this? Second question - can you disable reCAPTCHA when logging in to this site?

first one is of file explorer with current data (document is "ambulance- x" i wanted to attach second one is of file explorer with incorrect data when I clicked 'attach' to get document third one is of actual display of message screen online that i used to send message. Latest update, 4. oct. Using Firefox Developer Edition. Closed the browser window for the day, and then on opening again it had updated, my entire toolbar, and also icons where the tabs are, are just gone - including the "+" icon for creating a new tab, along with the bookmarks bar having vanished. Picture added below.

It seems like the bookmarks bar is still there, you just can visibly see any bookmarks. Tried adding a new bookmark, but nothing appeared.

How can I fix this?

We are in an enterprise environment and for years we have had disabled automatic updates.

Firefox ESR 128.2.0 has been deployed with defaults and these settings have been configured to override previous settings.

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Mozilla > Firefox

- Custom Update URL = Disabled
- Disable Update = Disable
- Application Autoupdate = Enabled
- Background updater = Enabled

We also have a system proxy configured.

Updates do work if someone goes to Help > About Firefox.

Looks like the update interval is once every 7 hours but how is this triggered?

Thanks for the information. I can insert a document into a regular email with no problem. I will try to set up a screen shot to send. As I explained before the problem is that when i go out to the web page and try to insert a document i just created for a doctor the file explorer data is incorrect. Then i click on button to get file explorer with current data that would show my new document, it displays "filefox symbol with note 'file upload' " . At the time I'm using doctors web site 'Epic MyChart' and file explorer displays some old data. Is there a way to send you the screen shot without filling this form out each time? Thanks Perry

In the last update of Firefox, today, the updated firefox opened without some bookmarks that I had open in the last session and that I don't want to lose. I tried the recovery following your help (Recover user data missing after Firefox update) but without success. How can I recover lost bokmars? Note: This situation has happened more times and if I can't recover the bookmarks, I will have to give up Firefox, which I have been using for many years and stop recommending it.

Having just used Windows Update (on Windows 10), the screensaver lock screen comes on with my chosen picture AND four large buttons for weather etc. I didn't ask for the buttons, and don't want them. Is this a Firefox issue, or maybe a Windows issue? Do you know how I can stop them coming on please? (Firefox v. 132.0.2 current)
